Apparently your judgement of worthy life is whether or not it can 'produce' something worthwhile to society. Then how about mentally or physically handicapped people who can't function in society? Are they then worth less than those who can? If you know anything about ecology, then you would know that all animals are vital in one way or another to the earth's ecosystem which directly or indirectly impacts our survival. I would call that a pretty damn important 'job'.

My point was that I don't have this ridiculous notion that ants are more important than sharks or people are more important than hummingbirds. I'm talking on a large, global scale. I saw this on cnn. I became violently ill and let out a similar yelping sound that the innocent puppy made. Only mine resonated within my body and mind, which grew into a session of overwhelming tears and questioning of how could a human being be capable of such disregard for life.

My dad's friend said if you throw the cat in you are going over after it. The guy dropped it and my dad's friend picked him up and dropped him over the side.
