Is that real?? I watched it a few times and the dog doesn't seem to move. That's pretty fucked up if it's real...

I can't watch that, but if that's real, I pray that this person doesn't ever have to choose whether someone has to live or die.

It that was real do you really think they're going do anything to that soldier? One can see why our soldiers come back with many mental issues to deal with.

This war will never end anytime soon!

That was pretty bad, but what the hell do you expect? These guys' jobs are to kill. And, as a bonus, they get to see their buddies killed. That has to fuck them up pretty bad. While doing that to a puppy is hardcore asshole, at least it wasn't a baby.

Again If it's real he's going.....Straight To Hell

    (The Clash)

If you can play on the fiddle
How's about a British jig and reel?
    Speaking King's English in quotation
As railhead towns feel the steel mills rust water froze
    In the generation
    Clear as winter ice
    This is your paradise

There ain't no need for ya
    Go straight to hell boys

    Y'wanna join in a [Chorus]
    Of the Amerasian blues?
When it's Christmas out in Ho Chi Minh City
Kiddie say papa papa papa papa-san take me home
    See me got photo photo
    Photograph of you
    Mamma Mamma Mamma-san
Of you and Mamma Mamma Mamma-san
Lemme tell ya 'bout your blood bamboo kid.
    It ain't Coca-Cola it's rice.

    Straight to hell
    Oh Papa-san
    Please take me home
    Oh Papa-san
    Everybody they wanna go home
    So Mamma-san says

    You wanna play mind-crazed banjo
    On the druggy-drag ragtime U.S.A.?
    In Parkland International
    Hah! Junkiedom U.S.A.
Where procaine proves the purest rock man groove
    and rat poison
    The volatile Molatov says-

    Pssst...
Hey chico we got a message for ya...
    Vamos vamos muchacho
From alphabet city all the way A to Z, dead, head

    Go straight to hell

Can you really cough it up loud and strong
    The immigrants
They wanna sing all night long
    It could be anywhere
Most likely could be any frontier
    Any hemisphere
No man's land and there ain't no asylum here

AT LEAST it wasn't a 'baby'???? It was a baby!!! A baby dog for Christ's sake. I never get this mentality that humans are somehow above all other animals. I get that most of humanity thinks this way and that it is ingrained in us (and all animals) to value the life of your own, for survival purposes, over that of other animals. But I would would hope that we've become enlightened enough to value all life equally, regardless of species. Unfortunately that's not the case, and that's why we see so much animal cruelty in the world. They are treated as objects or lower life forms.  sick.

    I'm sure.

The worst part about this is that the majority of people out there wouldn't be in an outrage over this. I mean, if it's in there face, sure, but if you bring it up to them they'd just think it's either an internet fake, or just an aberration. Look at Vietnam and the My Lai massacre, which was by all accounts just one of many. Then all of the stories (and now videos) of different atrocities going on in this war, including Abu Ghraib. It's all just swept under the rug or marginalized. The image of the freedom spreading GI Joe can't be tarnished in the eyes of much of America, no matter how brutal the behavior.

Puh-leeeze. The only reason any gives a shit is because it was a cuddly, little puppy. If it would have been a rat or a snake or a scorpion, nobody would be crying. And yes, you're right, I DO value human life over that of an animal. I eat meat; I wear leather; I step on bugs; and, I'm totally OK with it. When a dog can create art, cure diseases, or do any of the hundreds, if not thousands, of things a person can do, then I'll go ahead and give them equal footing with humans. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't think cruelly offing animals for no good reason is cool. It's fucking disgusting. But, don't give me this "valuing all life" stuff. Human life is more valuable than the life of a dog, even if all life has something that makes it worth respecting.

Well that's the difference between you and me. I DO value the life of rats, snakes and scorpions as I do cuddly puppies and humans. I must be crazy. I go out of my way to not needlessly kill bugs, and even let unwanted spiders outside rather than killing them.

Apparently your judgement of worthy life is whether or not it can 'produce' something worthwhile to society. Then how about mentally or physically handicapped people who can't function in society? Are they then worth less than those who can? If you know anything about ecology, then you would know that all animals are vital in one way or another to the earth's ecosystem which directly or indirectly impacts our survival. I would call that a pretty damn important 'job'.

You can hold onto your human superiority, center of the universe complex, but I prefer the non-neanderthal approach.

Mentally and physically handicapped people are still people. I guess we'll just have to disagree about the relative worth of a dog's life when compared to a person's.

dont know if that is real but...fuck. I agree with most of the comments. If its true: the guys a fuckstick and has likely seen a few of his buddies die...which doesnt make it right but gives you the mindset of the idea of "death"that those guys face either way and if it's fake: he is learning to deal with the death their dealing with over there through humour.

All dogs create is dog shit. Let's not go giving them credit for not doing things they don't have the ability to do. Jeez, don't dogs kill each other and other animals sometimes? Didn't Grizzlies eat that silly sonofabitch and his girlfriend when they tried to live with them in the wild? And just so I don't have to get another lesson in Ecology 101 while being accused of being some neanderthal, I'm not calling for the mass extinction of animals, but I will say: People > animals. Your attempts at arguing otherwise seem laughable to me. If you guys honestly believe the lives of animals are equal to the lives of humans, well, nothing I write is going to change your minds. Maybe I just haven't evolved enough to find no distinction in value between people and animals. I guess I never should have had the nerve to point out that it was a puppy, not a human baby the soldier threw off a cliff, which, by the way I've said was fucking sickening. Have fun living in Bear City and not wearing leather or eating meat or taking any medicines for humans that have been tested on animals.

It's really disturbing that anyone would take pleasure in torturing an animal. I don't get it. The lack of empathy is really disturbing. All this guy needs to do is start wetting the bed and setting fires and we'll have a serial killer on our hands.
