The Japanese-based DREAM organization today released the match-ups for the second round of its middleweight tournament, which takes place June 15 at the Saitama Super Arena.
The match-ups were actually determined by a fan vote conducted on DREAM's official website, and they were revealed during a press conference today in Tokyo.
The event airs live on all the all-high-definition cable station HDNet.
The bouts include:
* Melvin Manhoef (21-4-1) vs. Kazushi Sakuraba (24-10-1)
* Gegard Mousasi (21-2-1) vs. Dong Sik Yoon (4-4)
* Ronaldo "Jacare" de Souza (8-1) vs. Jason "Mayhem" Miller (21-5)
* Zelg Galesic (8-3) vs. Taiei Kin (3-2)
Manhoef is a replacement for Kiyoshi Tamura, who had to pull out of the tournament with a dislocated finger that was suffered in his DREAM.2 victory over Masakatsu Funaki.

MAN!!!! i was scared for a second there, mendes was pretty impressive in his debute for what it was. That kick was scary for a moment, but the better fighter came out on top. We are lucky mendes slipped when he went for that judo throw or who knows what would have happened. Thiago was hurt at the beginning. I wonder if they would consider putting Rashad/thiago at 86.

Damn Thiago got rocked at te beginning but came back strong. I got a little screwed on the method of victory.... I picked TKO but it was called as tapout due to strikes.

great round for machida... tito looks pissed and not able to figure him out. tons of great kicks, showed great tackdown defence (just throwing tito off) and that takedown and ground and pound at the ends was amazing... i'm trying not to get too excited though lol

i'd say 2-0 for lyoto... another perfect round for him and getting under tito's skin perfectly. Absolutely perfect game plan. Tito has to let it all hang out in the 3rd if he wants this fight
