except i had to support my eastern european brothers, Reljic and Wellisch!
and warmachine too....
i was saying to Mookie that i wouldn't normally pick for a guy who's 12-0... but it worked with Anderson Silva last time, so i'm hoping that Machida doesn't let us down...
well anderson is pretty good company to be in, so lets hope machida doesn't let us down."I'll ride the wave where it takes me"

so i got good news and bad news. Bad news is that my buddy had to cancel his party cause he had to take care of some personal family things. The good news is, I get to enjoying this great night of fights with you guys.
So i got my wings and my guiness ready, I agree mookie, 10 can't come soon enough.
Is it ok to post the prelim results here or wanna wait till it's over?"I'll ride the wave where it takes me"

hey mookie didn't know if you had read yet but the fights have been made up for Dream 4
The Japanese-based DREAM organization today released the match-ups for the second round of its middleweight tournament, which takes place June 15 at the Saitama Super Arena.
The match-ups were actually determined by a fan vote conducted on DREAM's official website, and they were revealed during a press conference today in Tokyo.
The event airs live on all the all-high-definition cable station HDNet.
The bouts include:
* Melvin Manhoef (21-4-1) vs. Kazushi Sakuraba (24-10-1)
* Gegard Mousasi (21-2-1) vs. Dong Sik Yoon (4-4)
* Ronaldo "Jacare" de Souza (8-1) vs. Jason "Mayhem" Miller (21-5)
* Zelg Galesic (8-3) vs. Taiei Kin (3-2)
Manhoef is a replacement for Kiyoshi Tamura, who had to pull out of the tournament with a dislocated finger that was suffered in his DREAM.2 victory over Masakatsu Funaki.
DREAM.4 also features a DREAM Lightweight Grand Prix quarterfinal bout between Shinya Aoki and Katsuhiko Nagata. It's the lightweight tournament's final second-round bout.
The middleweight GP concludes with a Sept. 23 finale at the Saitama Super Arena.

it's funny, smithers and i were just talking about what a good matchup that is...herring vs. lesnar. herring's already shown he struggles against wrestlers so this should be a good showing for brock. great card so far there!
interesting matches for the MW tourney, eh? jacare vs. mayhem is probably the one i'm looking forward to most. i think jacare might take the whole thing. just my opinion.0 -
I hope Tito makes more than one shirt.
He has to have one about joining Elite XC or something along those lines.
The second great shirt idea would be "I JUST SLAYED THE DRAGON!"
Damn I need a job making these T-SHIRTS. LOL0 -

Enjoy the show guys and gals. I'm off to the other room to get ready.

Hey guys!!! Ready for the fights to start! I'm watching at a bar so my posts will be much slower since I have to post from my phone.
As for random picks, that's pretty much what mine, so hopefully my performance won't be terrible.
Hey K . . . the placenta song just came on at the bar!!!! Proof positive we should all be watching this event together!0 -
HOLY CRAP . . . now PJ is playing at the bar!0

that's a great idea for his shirt for after this fight. I would not be surprised at all if that's what it actually is."I'll ride the wave where it takes me"

ya i just read that there is a rumour that danzig/guida might be added to that card aswell which will make it insane.
I like 2 fights in the tourney so far. again i don't know much about the fighters, but hte jacare/mayhem fight should be good aswell as the manhoef/sakuraba fight."I'll ride the wave where it takes me"

MAN!!!! i was scared for a second there, mendes was pretty impressive in his debute for what it was. That kick was scary for a moment, but the better fighter came out on top. We are lucky mendes slipped when he went for that judo throw or who knows what would have happened. Thiago was hurt at the beginning. I wonder if they would consider putting Rashad/thiago at 86."I'll ride the wave where it takes me"
09/19/05, 05/09/06, 05/10/060 -
Damn Thiago got rocked at te beginning but came back strong. I got a little screwed on the method of victory.... I picked TKO but it was called as tapout due to strikes.
Hey Mookie ... say hi to your imaginary friend Smithers for me.0
