dude... you are kicking ass in the picks tonight!!
silva's win got me some points.... but damn... that was the opposite of a decision!!
thanks i'm doing pretty good in the picks but not so well in the rounds and minutes lol... I said TKO and that was most definately a KO lol...
great fight for palhares... joe is right on about him, that bjj was incredible. He never gave up on that choke and made salaverry believe that was all he was going to do and then out of nowhere goes into the arm bar. Easily sub of the night, unless bj pulls this one out in the 1st 3 rounds.. if it goes 5 i think sherk will take it

WOW WHAT A FIGHT! Silva landed some perfect shots. I was a little worried that Jardine was seriously hurt but it was good to see him walk out of the ring.
Good fights tonight!!!
ya great to see jardin walking out...
great fights tonight, it's really living up to it's hype

leafs you are KILLING it tonight!J Congrats! I am having a sorry showing. Hopefully BJ will get me some points to pull me out of the basement in the fantasy league
i'm pretty happy with 80% so far
lets go bj, i'm hoping for a choke out in the 2nd. Don't think Sherk has ever been sub'd though, always nice to see a 1st lol

woooooo is it over???? it's over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! amazing knee there and then bj calling the fight.... i can't believe that that just happened i seriously can't bellieve that, bj didn't stop as soon as sean went down.
kinda funny when bj was waving his hands but then it looked like he went over when sean was down and got blood off of his face, don't know about that. They did hug afterwards though so i guess it's ok

those were some great kicks from soko and good fight on both fighters. That punch at the end was strong but i thought kaz was going to be ok for the 2nd. I just saw the replay and he dropped right on that right leg and twisted the knee up good, sucks that that's why it was stopped, but soko looked strong and probably would have won anyways
Soko calling out shogun??? hmm i'll pick shogun but it would be an interested fight
Palharres gets sub of the night and rightly so

pretty good picks guys... our average keeps being pretty good
I did better than i thought and landed up in 33 overall best i've ever done...

I wish I was toying with you guys. Pretty shameful showing on my part. I went with my gut on the picks and usually that works out well for me but not this time. I knew picking Jardine to upset was a risk but it was really the prelim fights that killed me. I'm never living it down that Shamrocks twin (who knows a minimal amount about mma) beat me!

Congrats on the dominant performance leafs!
don't worry ReleasH.... you are no where near my worst ever score of 48!!!

OMG you thought that match would go to a decision?!?!?! WOW! You're the only one I know that didn't think Keith was gonna get destroyed!
I thought it would be later in the first round when he got knocked out...not 36 seconds into the match...HOLY SHIT!
I thought Tito was waay to laid back in his fight. If he had been on the attack more often then the final minute of each round he woulda had a better chance of getting the decision IMO. Also dunno why he waited till the end of the match to try and exploit Machita's foot injury. Tito just did not have that killer instinct last night IMO. Didn't seem to be as into it mentally as he shoulda been.
As for PJ Penn and Sean Sherk...that match was a snoozefest till that flying knee. I know Sherk was gracious last night but I'm afraid he'll come out later and say that he never gave up, the round ended, and that he coulda continued to the second round. I was expecting a more decisive victory for BJ. (woulda picked him to tap Sherk if I had entered the pool).
BJ and GSP...I dunno. I LOVE both fighters, but right know not sure BJ could handle GSP. It would be a damn good fight though.
All in all a pretty good night of fighting. Good ppv.

Don't feel bad at all, my worst is 80 so you are nowhere near as bad as i did. Like i said, you'll be back in 2 weeks to kick our asses

is it still saturday night?!?! i fell asleep starting to watch the replay and have been in bed ever since!
anyway, another big congrats to leafs! you almost made the top twenty! how sweet is that? turned out to be the main card blues for me. my pre-lims were excellent and everything went downhill after thiago's win. so i think i am the opposite of everyone else.
everyone remember that the low score record is 15, so we can always feel good to not hold that distinction!

meh. nobody thought that Chuck vs. Wanderlei would go to a decision either... but it did. and seeing as Keith kicked Chuck's ass... why not?
indeed. you called that one! you might have been the only one, ceg!
i had keith by decision as well. zero points for me there. :( but it was worth the pick, people underestimate keith. wanderlei seemed very emotional to finally get a win, after losing three straight.
...and, oh yeah...:) yet another potential fight of the year at 87...
Mac Danzig vs. Clay Guida at UFC 87
by Dann Stupp and Bruce "PhyteGuru" Huckfeldt
May 25, 2008
"The Ultimate Fighter 6" winner Mac Danzig (18-4-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) will look to continue his ascent in the UFC's lightweight division when he meets Clay Guida (23-9 MMA, 3-3 UFC) at UFC 87.
A source close to Guida told MMAjunkie.com that the fighters recently agreed to the August bout.
UFC 87, which now features a main event between UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre and top contender Jon Fitch, takes place Aug. 9 at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
Danzig, a former King of the Cage champ who dominated the sixth season of "TUF," defeated Tommy Speer at the show's live finale. He then dropped from welterweight to lightweight at UFC 83 and defeated Canadian Mark Bocek via third-round submission. It was his 10th submission victory -- and 14th stoppage -- in 18 career victories.
As for the perpetually tested Guida, he gets another tough fight in the UFC. Although 3-3 in the organizatiom, the losses have come to notables Din Thomas, Tyson Griffin and Roger Huerta. He most recently defeated Samy Schiavo at UFC Fight Night 13 with a first-round TKO. Guida, a former Strikeforce champ, will look to put together his first back-to-back wins in the UFC.
indeed. you called that one! you might have been the only one, ceg!

yah, i didn't think a decision was that crazy a pick?
i mean, both guys had something to prove... silva, coming off three losses... and jardine trying to prove that his win against chuck wasn't a fluke.
and like i said... chuck vs. silva went three rounds. chuck vs. keith went three rounds...
seemed logical to me!
