Glavine really struggled against the Rockies tonight. I'm beginning to wonder if he can actually get five more wins and make it to 300. He hasn't looked good in two months now.
All in all, the Mets really turned it around the last week of June. They had a rough middle of the month, but they should swing into the ASB up 5 games or so on the rest of the division.
Can't wait to get Pedro back, especially with Ollie going on the DL earlier today. Mets need some starting pitching and bullpen help. May have to make do with the current corner OFs to get the arms they need for the stretch run.

its always good to hear kiner still get in the both after all these years. kinda made me realize how lucky iam to have heard both kiner and muprhys voice growing up.very nice cermony tonight and the mets win was even more sweeter. nice to see tommy boy get another win closer to 300 and dam its awesome to lastings step right in and help this team. very nice night to be a die hard met fan. i also think it was the right move to fire rick downs and make hojo the hitting coach and rickey 1st base coach, that will help reyes and lastings and gomez with there stealing alot.
