Anybody ever hear of such a thing? I learned about this from a Korean acquaintance:

    http://world.kbs.co.kr/english/town/town_seoultoday_detail.htm?No=296

I don't really believe it but it's amusing.

oh boo! It didn't show ScreamingLemur :( Can you find it again? it seems pretty cool!

Chloe is going through her first cold, first it was allergies/cold and now that all that is left is cough and phelgm. Poor thing! I don't know what to do and it has been a week. I took her to the doctor last Wed. and he told me just to elevate her after I finish feeding her and then give her saline nose drops. She still has it. :( Now, me and her daddy are sick. I am just getting over it though :D

I bought Adria decongestant when she was really stuffed.
I also used the saline drops and a nasal aspirator.
A humidifier in her room might help and a warm bath every night.
    Do whatever you can.
And take whatever you can as well.
    Get better. :D

Adria tried peanut butter for the first time today. :O
No rashes or anything. Keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way.
I swear the world has you paranoid nowadays.
Like shes gonna drop dead from it or something.
Oh for the good old days when everyone just did whatever and we werent all brainwashed into thinking everything is gonna kill us or our kids.
Im not even a worrier. But I was hesitant about the nut thing.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.
We went to a small town parade and Adria pointed at all the horses and dogs in the parade. Didnt even care about the big tractors or the firetruck and ambulance.
    Such a girl.

    Annabelle is 1 today!!!!!!

I am happy and excited for what is to come, but whistful and sad for what has passed and will never come again. She is such a beautiful little blessing and I am so proud to be her mommy. :)

Tonight she'll have a little mini-party, and we'll eat ice cream and she'll open her presents. I think my in-laws will probably come over. (Well, actually, I know they will - they live across the street! lol :D) And then in two weeks, after my sister is finished with school (she is a teacher), she and my mom will come out for Annabelle's official birthday bash! I'll be hosting people in our house for the first time and I'm a little nervous, but excited too. :)

I can't believe what a big girl she is now. I'll take some birthday pictures tonight and post them soon! :)

    Happy Birthday Annabelle!

I know how you feel Meddle.
Its great cause there are things they can do now and there is freedom in that.
But at the same time new difficulties.
Im just glad I take lots of pics. :D

    Cool.
So does that make the search for names a bit easier?
I had a firm boy name and a firm girl name picked out long before I ever had kids.

We're nearing the 6 month mark.

Wow, I haven't been on this thread for a while. It seems to be getting fuller and fuller with new pregnancies and births and by the time I check it each time there are too many pages for me to read so I only ever read random bits and pieces.

It's amazing to see the diffenece 1 year can make in a baby's life. I guess the last photos I saw of Adria were about 6 months ago and she seems to have grown so much. She looks like a little child now rather than a baby. Very pretty too.

    Hehehe
    Such a cutie.
Still got the chubby cheeks goin on.

    Adria had a big day.
    She cut her 8th tooth.
    And finally figured out clapping.
I have been working on it for what seems like ages.
I knew she could do it but just wouldnt.

She needs to learn some words though.
She is obsessed with having books read to her.
But she just brings one to you and makes a fussing whining noise.
Im trying to teach her to say up in stead of sceaming at me.

Anyone looking for some great books for kids an awsome author is Sandra Boynton.
Adria is in love with her books and there must be about 15 in the series.
Everything from dinosaurs to belly buttons. Cute drawings by the author and enjoyable for me to read too! :)

Yeah, actually I think they are getting chubbier by the day.

I'll have to check out the books you mentioned. I have to say I have been pretty slack when it comes to reading to her.

yeah it really did. we had the boys name all picked out but we're really not sure about a girls name so this makes it much easier.

    Arg,
    Chicken pox vaccine sucks.
Adria has like 12 chicken pox on her and thats gotta suck.
All of my freinds that have kids getting this vaccine are dealing with it too.
The public health nurse said its very rare for them to get a reaction.
What a crock. I know like 8 kids that have had the shot recently and all have got some rashes.
One friends little girl got them really bad. She covered in them. Even in her hair.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. :D

yea that really sucks to hear about that Gen. :( I would be pissed off too. That is why I don't trust vaccines at all. They get sick anyways. how is she holding up now? How long has she has it?

Poor Adria. Still thinking about you girls.

Well she got her shot the 28th of May.
And about 3 days later she got a spot on her face.
I thougth it was a mosquito bite.
But now there are about 4 on that cheek and a few more on her face and neck.
Some on her arms and legs and hands.
She doesnt seem too bothered by them.
    Just outa sorts in general.
Between teeth and the pox she is having a rough go of things.
    But we are coping.

Had a bit of a meltdown the other day cause I was so tired.
    Poor hubby.
But I just need to remember to not push myself beyond what I can do.

    Thanks for asking Meddle.

How are you and baby doing?
How are all the mommies and babies and mommies to be?
