okay, this is a TMI question, but did any of you women experience the mucus plug coming out during the 37th or 38th week? b/c I read when that happens, it is almost time.

I am really anxious right now. :/ I just can't believe how the months flown by!

I was never aware of losing the plug. I think the plug can actually regenerate itself, so it's not necessarily a sign that it'll happen soon. (I know you're hoping it will, though! :D) The last few weeks are the hardest and the longest. The day that I went into labor, I felt SOOOO anxious and I felt like it was never going to happen...and I was only 38 weeks at the time, lol. :D Of course, I'd been expecting an early induction but never had to go that route, so I really didn't expect to still be pregnant at that point.

Enjoy the leave you are taking before the baby! Even though bed rest was boring, it was nice to be off of my feet during the last 3 weeks or so of pregnancy, because I was having trouble moving around at that point...lol. :D

She is soooo cute! :) I can't believe how big she is compared to little Annabelle!

I read in your blog that you and your husband are thinking about taking a trip somewhere warm! My husband and I just went to the Bahamas to celebrate our anniversary and it was GREAT!! I definitely recommend it! I missed the baby pretty bad, but my mom watched her and they both had a great time, so that made me feel better!
  • tomorrow i go to the doc ,so than i will see my little in my belly ;):)
and i will get my card???sorry i´ve no idear how you call that in german we say Mutterpass.

I loved seeing the ultrasounds! That was the one bonus of having to go to the doctor every week for the last 10 weeks or so.

every woman goes sees their doctor towards the end of the third trimster. I started to see my midwife every week at the 35th mark. I only had one ultrasound though at my 4 month.

Thanks ladies for your input on it. I am so anxious already, but i know this week will fly by.

i haven't heard about grapefruit being bad for us. I thought they wanted us to have plenty of vegetables & fruits during pregnancy. And I know w/milk too, plenty of that, since it helps your baby grow strong muscles, but if you can't stomach that, just like me, for my calcium supplements, I take TUMS. :D
