Let me guess? The ref missed a high stick in game 5 that would have turned the series around had it been called :p

As devestating as "No Goal" was, I'm man enough to admit that Dallas was a better team that year.

That being said, IF Buffalo ended up winning Game 6, I do think they would have won Game 7. Hull and Modano likely would not have played (Hitchcock even said so after the series), and during that time, who would you rather have in net for a Game 7 than Dominick Hasek?

They should have had three straight ass whippings, except for the fact the Leafs couldn't put the puck in the net.

i think thats the 2008 sabres youll see on the ice this season. a couple winning streaks followed by some losing streaks. briere drury even not havin biron as a steller back up is hurting the sabres. I think now its just the team figuring out who they are as a team and where everyone fits on the team

Sadly, you could say that about Connolly at any point during his career.

Like Sundin or Kaberle when they accept a trade?

And Campbell won't fuck us over...our management will!

Look at the talent this team has let walk...Dumont, Grier, McKee, Briere, Drury, and now possibly Campbell!? Shit....

Good drafting for sure, as for Sundin i hope he waives the no-trade, but Kaberle id like to see stay.

They've drafted VERY well, and made some great trades (getting Briere for C. Gratton for example), but they can't retain their players. Very frustrating.

its impossible ...there a small market team... this will always happen ...

reports out of canada said that campbell refused a 3 yr 18 mil contract offered by the sabres . 6 mil a yr ... i guess hes not happy with the shortness of the contract
