So, what you're saying, is that you cheer for a team that's only ever shown you disappointment and failure?

I can't believe how delusional you Laff's fans are. Sweep? You couldn't beat the Kings in 7 games, yet we did in 5. You would have swept them if you could have swept us. You couldn't even beat them, would have gone 4-0 for Montreal.
And crying about Wayne still.....sheesh. The REAL problem is that you should have had McSorley's stick measured, and you didn't. 'Nuff said.

Not to mention - there's missed high sticks (intentional) every game these days. Yet the one in the playoffs is the cause of all your problems?
    Bahahaha!
Ok Leafs in 5 :p, in all seriousness i was playing about a sweep, but c'mon admitt it, it was a high stick that was 5 and a game, and Kerry Fraser should have never been able to ref another Leafs game hehe.

Habs were on fire, they weren't losing.
After game 1 Carbo took Gretz out of the play for the rest of the series.
Not to mention Roy was most excellent.

I didn't have a response for your story, other than the one eyebrow raise.
    Or a 'yay alcohol' cheer.

We did the same for the Leafs' thread.

Let me guess? The ref missed a high stick in game 5 that would have turned the series around had it been called :p

As devestating as "No Goal" was, I'm man enough to admit that Dallas was a better team that year.

That being said, IF Buffalo ended up winning Game 6, I do think they would have won Game 7. Hull and Modano likely would not have played (Hitchcock even said so after the series), and during that time, who would you rather have in net for a Game 7 than Dominick Hasek?
