i could care less about Drury, but I still miss Briere.

The team really seems to have hit their stride, but almost everyone in the East is a bad week away from being outside looking in.

Tonight will be interesting. Toronto hasnt played since Hockey Day in Canada and Buffalo is at the end of 6 games in 9 days. I expect Buffalo to jump on Toronto early, then hopefully hold them off when fatigue sets in and Toronto regains their legs.

I talk hockey elsewhere. I just got email notification that this thread had a reply so I added to it.

I dont think it says anything about fan support if threads are active in Pearl Jam forums.
Most Buffalo fans are there through thick and thin. The bankrupcy years were the exception. You cant expect an entire fan base to stay frenzied through that misery. Unfortunately some people choose to look at that 3 year window as the true measure of our fan base, and think of the last few years of sellouts as the exception. That is not true.

how do u get an email notification?

im not saying bad things about the fans ,and i know their are only a few on this board
but fact is , this thread got bumped from the depths now that the sabres are in the hunt(no other reason)
last post was july 6th (after the sabs lost their 2 free agents ) and came back feb 13th

i get email notifications every day from threads I am subscribed to (meaning those I posted in). Most of them I delete, but Buffalo Sabres caught my eye.

Yeah I guess it is 'convenient' that the day the sabres pull into a playoff spot the thread gets resurrected.

im surprised there was nothing around the time of the winter classic. The excitement surround the team then was at a peak, and the team on the ice was playing very well.

But that Drury/Briere thing did sting pretty bad, as did the 10 game losing streak.

Go back to being pissed about last year's playoffs. ;)

In all honesty, the thread fell out of memory during the offseason. When something happens with one of my teams, I don't immediately think "I better go post about that on the Pearl Jam forum!!"

Pens fan??? I live in Pittsburgh, but was born and raised in Buffalo. A die-hard Buffalo sports fan.

So, how've you been since Buffalo knocked the Rangers on their ear last spring?

    That's true...you did.

Game 5 was awesome last year, wasn't it. Too bad management screwed the pooch, and they lost BOTH Briere and Drury. Noe they better not screw up AGAIN and lose Campbell.

Should have traded Max last year when his value was higher. Unload some salary to help pay Briere and/or Drury.

I'm torn on Connolly. He's so good on the power play...

but connolly is always hurt ,thats my only problem with him . When hes healthy he is just mesmurising to watch . Hes playin right now with a bone spur ,and a groin issue . And its up in the air whether he will have to go under the knife and forfeit the rest of the season.

Shutout the Maple Loafs 1-0 on a goal by Gaustad!? LOL!! 8-0-2 in their last ten. Last nights win moved them to 7th in conference.
