I don't think Laraques hit was worth a major. It was def. a penalty, but a double minor would have sufficed. Cheechoo saw him coming and didn't do anything to brace himself - kept his back to the play trying to draw the penalty. That doesn't mean you can ram his head into the boards, but it should have some bearing on the call. I'd have been happy with laraque if it was a double minor....get that fucker thinking.
Rolli's glove save on Cheechoo in 2OT saved our season. Best save I've seen in years.....can you say TSN turning point? That save could be the turning point of the series.

What I saw (through my copper tinted glasses) was a 6'7" giant hitting a 6' mortal....his arms were a bit high, but that's just cause he's so big....haha. nah, he did ram his head...but there wasn't blatant intent to injure....just intent to severely intimidate. Cherry said he should've only got two, so....:p (did you guys see his montage of Smytty last night? showed him getting the shit kicked out of him over the years... as Grapes said...what a warrior!)
And yeah, Earthgirl....I know which play made Hemsky's lack of hussle so glaring...in OT, right? Not sure which one...but he coasted to the bench with his head back...by the time he sat down, the winger that replaced him was in the Sharks zone. Could've even cost us a too many men penalty. MacT said in the Detroit series that he was short shifting himself....no confidence, and he's scared to get hit. He needs a wake up. The only reason he's still playing is cause he has wheels and we don't have much O depth outside the four lines we're already rolling.
