    So sorry you're going through this. Do give the prednisone a chance if you think it may help, it bought my Seamus a year an a half of happy good health.

    well, i don't have any new pictures of the little shit because she's up in utah with her mom. :cry:

    but they both came down on tuesday for gracie's final appt w/her oncologist. he said "we hate to use the word 'cured,' but i'd say she's...........CURED." :mrgreen:

    what a ride......we just hope and pray it never comes back. or, if it does, lets wait another 10-12 years!

    Thanks everyone!!!With everyday that passes it gets a little easier,but it still sucks.My 3 yr old daughter was screaming and crying at the top of her lungs for Rocky.It was very sad :cry:

    Yes, it gets easier, but it takes too damn long, doesn't it? I thought I was doing okay (almost two weeks since Ernst died) and I walked down the pet food aisle at the market and burst into tears.

    And my daughter (who has cried and cried) is finally starting to ask about getting another dog. Asking in a good way, I mean. And we talk about how we'll never replace Ernst.

    Oh, dear. I meant this to sound uplifting - yes yes, it does get better.

    so on our evening walks up here, norm has to check out the rabbit hole on the slope...tonight, we saw the rabbit run out of it's hole...thankfully, i had the little hunter was leashed so he couldn't go running through the forest :twisted:

    but he did spend a good 5 minutes checking out the rabbits hole :lol:

    (it's about a 40 degree slope)
