He does have a point and I kinda agree with him but I don't see how him coming out and saying that helps?

(a)-the game? Blech! I heard some of it on the radio at work. It was exciting for like 1/2 a second when Giambi hit the home run and I thought they'd mount a comeback, but blech, nothing

(b)-Did we all see the Daily News story about Jason wearing a GOLD THONG!!! For 'good luck'? WHat the....? LMAO. I don't know if I believe that.

If he is, it sure didn't help! Blech!

someone told me that he mentioned it but said he hadn't done it in a number of years, but hey whatever legally works i guess.

another thing is I'd like to see more of shelley duncan, especially against a lefthanded pitcher tommorow night.

I don't know why he would tell anybody about that!

Oliver Perez is pitching tomorrow for the Mets? That should be a good match up.

should be, you never know what perez is going to show up. last week randolph compared him to a jazz musician because he likes to improvise a lot on the mound.

    hmmm.

well we have Wang going for us so that bodes well, but they just said the weather forecast is for rain... so we'll see how it goes.

I'm not happy about this last place thing with the Rays in 1st. That's like the twilight zone. I know it's early, but still. blech....

lol, yes meaning they will wait 3 hrs and then call it? :)

Ugh I just saw the 'low' lights of the game! Andy was just staring at the ball like 'duh' :(
and Farnsworth! Gives up homer to Reyes and David WRight? Man oh man. We shouldn't lose games like that.

    And Damon was so safe.

i hope not, but i'm sure they'll open the gates to get the money from concessions and souveniers.

that guy farnsworth is such a dope, he threw nothing but sliders to reyes on that at-bat and just before the home run reyes was hitting long foul balls into the stands.

How many games have been rained out so far? Things would've been different in the 9th had Joba not given up that run.

I heard it was the Mets who blocked any talk of a doubleheader, because they have another doubleheader Tuesday, against the Braves. Xavier could be right though, he would know better than me the real reason

If I had to guess, it's probably a combination of both. I know the Mets didn't want to play a single game Monday afternoon since they have a day-nighter Tuesday in Atlanta.

that's what they said in 2005. said it again in 2006. many said it again in 2007, though some were smart enough to lay off, after being burned 2 years in a row. It takes a special kind of person to say it yet again, for the fourth year in a row

  • wouldn't matter if casey Stengal was available. As long as they keep running overpaid hacks like Giambi and Damon out there, this team isn't going anywhere. You can't have a leadoff hitter who's hitting .251, and who doesn't steal bases anymore. You can't put a brick wall on 1st base, and hope he doesn't fuck up too much. Especially when he's hitting .192. It's time for him to either go back on the steroids or join his loser brother Jeremy on the unemployment line. The only way this fraud was ever any good was when he was sticking a needle up his gold thonged ass. The time for major change is here. Bat Damon 8th or 9th, when he plays. Call up Gardner and lead him off. You can't make out the lineup card based on how much people make.
