The Red Sox won the AL East and the Yanks came in 2nd so not having 'substance' is not a valid argument.

I would argue there are more transplanted NY'ers and New Englanders across the country supporting their teams, and just more Yankee fans around the country in general. Even on the road the Yankee games get sold out b/c people want to see them play.

Many Yankee fans would enjoy seeing them face the Sox in the ALCS b/c of the history of their rivalry and the intensity and excitement of that matchup

i cant believe this game is only in the bottom of the 3rd.

its one thing that irritates me about playoff baseball. the games are so slow.

He had 3 hits in the last 1.5 games before hitting the HR. There's not much substance behind the A-Rod bashing this series, unless you want to point out the failures of the offense as a whole.
