    You know you're in trouble when your ace gets knocked out after 1+ inning, and you replace him with a guy who had an 84 ERA+ this year.

    Of course it's far from over, and I wouldn't be shocked if Paul Byrd gives it back in one inning.

    i could see him giving it a try next year with a team that isnt on the radar as much as the yankees. he's a great manager and alot of the young players will respect him.

    i think he would be a good fit for a team like pittsburgh..seeing as they just fired jim tracy.

    Wang had the best season of any SP on the team, so I think it's fair enough to call him the 'ace' of the team.

    I'm absolutely fine with saying he's overrated though. He's probably somewhere between above average to good, but he still had the best ERA+ of any SP on the team(not counting those who may have only pitched 30 innings).
