    fucking Olsen....singlehandedly lost the game

Those fumbles were brutal. But it was Orton who lost this one. He couldn't hit an open receiver to save his life and just can't throw a deep ball with any accuracy. I was listening to the post-game show on the radio, they interviewed Ron Turner(who I think sucks) and he said on that 3rd and 1, they called a run but gave Orton the option to audible at the line. So what does he audible to? A fuckin receiver screen, and it almost got picked. Just horrible.

Overall, I'm encouraged that they coming home 1-1 after these first two games, but this one will sting all week. And I hope Hester isn't hurt too bad.
He floated back down 'cause he wanted to share, his key to the locks on the chains he saw everywhere.

Yeah, hopefully Hester just pulled something and will be fine. Having him miss any time is going to be really, really bad.
I'm still pissed they didn't go after another QB in the offseason, and I still think it was a mistake making Orton the starter...oh well.

They looked like a solid team at the half then Carolina made adjustments and turned it around.

We did not make the big plays offensively and need to improve. Orton to Booker should have been 6.

    We can take Tampa.

    Bucs 24

Olsen killed us. Two fucking fumbles?!?!?!?!?

We should be 2-0, but to start 1-1 after these two tough road games is a pretty damn good start.

Olsen is another offensive First Round pick that I dont think was worth it.

When was the last time the Bears picked a solid offensive player in the first round? Marc Columbo does not count since we gave up on him and he is on the Cowboys now.

I agree that the Bears have a horrendous track record with offensive players taken in the first round. But I'm not ready to give up on Olsen just because of one bad game. Yes, he made two huge mistakes in that game. But he didn't fumble the ball once last season, so it's not a reoccurring problem. He's athletic and can stretch the field well, but doesn't have a QB that can get him the ball most of the time. And they picked him with the 31st pick, so you really couldn't expect him to contribute immediately last season(and also b/c he's behind Desmond Clark). With that said, if he doesn't have a good, productive season this year, then I will probably agree with you (and he's not off to a good start.)

2 weeks in a row we could not finish and were beat by a player that we gave away.

Chris Harris and Moose in Carolina and Greise in TB.

    Pathetic!!!! We should be 3-0

Why do we take a knee with 1 play to go in regulation? Is Lovie scared to give up an INT for a TD? Grow some balls Lovie!!!!

  • Orton's INT to that DL returned for a TD, just terrible. They tried for a screen pass to Desmond Clark, but this guy was in front of Clark. I don't see how Orton couldn't have seen that. He threw it right fucking to him.

Tillmans bonehead penalty, should have been 4th and 10 with Tampa punting out of their own endzone, automatic first down.

I knew the Bears would win for some reason. Two games in a row crapping themselves in the 4th quarter and losing games. Fuckers could easily be 4-0 right now. They are one of the best 1st half team in football, and one of the worst 2nd half teams I've ever seen.

That was certainly the case last night but they managed to hold on. Nice win and thanks for beating the Eagles.

It is strong. That goal line stand was outstanding.

But you suffered from the same problem we did yesterday. Completely abandoning the running game.

BTW, only Eagles and Cowboy fans argue with each other in other team's threads. :D

Or maybe we could just play the first half from here on out.

Good game guys. It would've been different if the coaching and play calling wasn't so terrible. You let 240 lb. McNabb stuff up the middle on that play! Guaranteed to have it. Anyway, good game to you fine sirs.

Also, I wanted to shout out to my Chi town brethren - do any of you guys remember #5 playing in high school? Like did they ever do stories on tv or in the paper on him back in the day?

I would say with 4 Chicago turnovers the eagles should have won that game. The bears came through.

I thought the Philly should have taken the 3 points instead of going for it on 4th down. The way our Offense was looking (No first downs in the 3rd) Philly could have gotten the ball back and marched down field for a game winning kick.

    Oh well. Thanks anyways.

We could be 4 and 0. Ughh!!

Detroit is terrible. I thought the Cubs infield could not catch but that WR core is brutal. Matt Millens mess will take a few years to clean up. Glad the Bears handed it to them.

1st place!!! They are much better than I thought they were. I am a bit concerned Forte will be worn out by mid-season. When Lovie takes a knee at halftime I usually get pretty pissed off but dumping it off on your already overworked rookie running back pissed me off even more.

    Good win.

The two guys I worry about the most are Forte and Hester. I think they are going to run Forte into the ground by the end of the year. I also think Hester is do to get rung up pretty good (at some point) playing WR. I think the guy has exceeded most people's expectations at WR this year, but I just worry about him getting hurt.

    Fuck me!

I cannot believe that game. How in god's name could you give a receiver that much room on a deep out down the field?!?!?!?!?

Despite the D sucking ass, Orton looked good again. That pass to Davis was beautiful, and to be honest I'm surprized he pulled it in.

    FUCK!

oh man... that sucks for the Bears!! I totally thought they had it... what a great march down the field for nothing.
yeah I can't believe they left that guy that wide open:confused:
Whoa, chill bro... you know you can't raise your voice like that when the lion's here.

I went from "I cant believe the Bears won this game!! They did not deserve it"
    to
"I cant beleive the Bears blew this game!! What a choke!"
    in 11 seconds.

Atlanta could get 12-17 yards whenever they wanted. I dont want to hear injury excuses. The defense was horrid and we should have lost by a lot more. Where is our pass rush?
