He's not the best candidate. Hell, he's not even legally entitled to run.
Rhino '08: He's got as many as 3 supporters!
    :D

I love your lack of legal entitlement...that makes it so much more interesting and fun!!! Plus, as we all know...a healthy dose of fault and fallacy makes a canditate more .........endearing......to some.....seemingly.....

Musician...comic strip writer/illustrator and.... apparent slogan writer!! Is there anything you don't do???! :)

I won't go that far but I think anyone who doesn't have a sense of humor regarding politics will drive themselves insane...

Bah - Commy used to be, but now the sig is Rhino-less. :(

Still, I'm sure someone out there is deluded out there to be my third supporter! We could make into a sweepstakes: the next person to hop on board the Rhino Train doesn't get a punch in the throat! :D

Oh, Obama will bring about "change" - you can bet your life on that. However, as far as I see it, the change will be bad change. When Obama takes office, taxes are going to skyrocket for everybody but the welfare queens.

I'm not a fan of McCain either, just for the record.

looks like someone's perspective is a little skewed by emotion, rather than balanced by knowledge. Even though you may have somewhat of a point.

It's not emotion Angelica, it's common sense. I live in Montgomery, Alabama, right in the heart of welfare country. I've seen it every single day of my life.

The distortion of degradation that you so willfully display gives away the lack of understanding of....understanding...and therefore of actual knowledge.

I have plenty of "actual knowledge". I worked for three years as an attorney for Legal Services Alabama where I represented both the working poor and non-working poor throughout Alabama's poor Blackbelt region. I have had my pulse completely on reality for quite some time.

Knowledge is one thing...I refer to the degredation you express...that is about ignorance.

Knowledge is one thing...I refer to the degredation you express...that is about ignorance. It doesn't diminish your knowledge...it merely shows your own distortions of your knowledge.

When you show you are on the uneven playing field by demeaning one, you show your imbalance.

Contrarily, when you are informative and reasonable, it is shown with reason, and information, not with emotion.

My statements aren't made with emotion. They are based firmly in reason. Do you even know what type of organization Legal Services is?

Since you're from Canada you cannot relate to life in the Deep South of the U.S., so I realize that I would be wasting my time in trying to explain my viewpoint to you. (By the way, I just sent you a friend request on Myspace.)

the irrational cannot be justified rationally, because....it's not rational.

If you would like to associate an emotional personal view with the legal system, that's not about the legal system.

I already acknowledged the reasonable stuff, and your knowledge..I merely point to where you are distorting it with your apparently unconscious emotion.

It's not just the Deep South, it's also the Midwest and parts of the Northeast and West Coast. We have deadbeats everywhere who expect and demand a handout. We need more personal accountability from our citizens - that's what wrong with much of the U.S. today. Because I worked on the frontlines and dealt with a wide array of individuals as a Legal Services (Legal Aid as it's called in some parts of the U.S.) attorney, it has given me a unique perspective that someone who has never worked in that environment could have. I represented some great people (mostly great people), but I also represented those who could do better with their lives, but have refused to do so because our government allows them to do so (and Barrack Obama will allow them to continue to do so).

That's about all that I have for today. I'm about to hit the road for the R.E.M. concert in the ATL. Gotta go fill up my car with that lovely $4.00 a gallon gasoline!!!

You're apparently not very aware of the psychological aspects of situations. Or of your self it seems. Either way, your words/actions speak for themselves.

I find it unfortunate when bias is bled into any system, including the legal one, which I, at one time, aspired to be a part of. Thankfully, the Spirit of the Law, and of Life always prevails, and those maladaptive stances and arguments ultimately weed themselves out.

    Enjoy! :)

I'm not biased in my professional work. I treated every client the same with the utmost integrity and vigor. I got to see it all and do it all. Good times.

I question this. When we block/deny our personal emotions, they are unconscious and they distort our words and actions in all kinds of self-evident ways. For this reason, we become the environmental factors that contribute to the imbalanced systems we talk about. We unwittingly perpetuate them, while pointing the finger of imbalance at another.
