  • It wasn't just fire that brought down the buildings!!

But you forgot the Madrid Windsor Tower in Spain. It also burned for hours and did not have a total collapse. But a portion of the building did collapse. Can you guess which portion?? The portion where the structure relied on steel frames! Yes, steel frames weakened and collapsed after buring for over 18 hours. You might want to say, "Ha, it took 18 hours for it to collapse!". But wait..a jet did not slam into the side of the freaking building weakening the structure before the fire. Again...what you are saying sounds good and would lead some people to be suspicious but there is a logical and scientific explanation and what you say proves nothing.

and what of building (3),4,5,6? all suffered structural damage and fire....all burned for hours and remained standing.

The Madrid tower also didn't come down in a blaze of glory once the collapse started either.... there goes the progressive collapse theory out the window...

    Madrid tower collpase timeline:
    1:29
East face of the 21st floor collapsed
    1:37
South middle section of several floors above the 21st floor gradually collapsed
    1:50
Parts of floor slab with curtain walls collapsed
    2:02
Parts of floor slab with curtain walls collapsed
    2:11
Parts of floor slab with curtain walls collapsed
    2:13
Floors above about 25th floor collapsed
Large collapse of middle section at about 20th floor
    2:17
Parts of floor slab with curtain walls collapsed
    2:47
Southwest corner of 1 ~ 2 floors below about 20th floor collapsed
    2:51
Southeast corner of about 18th ~ 20th floors collapsed
    3:35
South middle section of about 17th ~ 20th floors collapsed
Fire broke through the Upper Technical Floor
    3:48
Fire flame spurted out below the Upper Technical Floor
    4:17
Debris on the Upper Technical Floor fell down

REALLY?!?!? So a building is designed to withstand an object (let's say a plane for shits and giggles) at 180 mph. If said object ends up hitting the building at say double that, you would say that was only "negligible"? WOW! When you want to believe in some bullshit, you really want to believe, no?

Aside from a few selected parts in it's engines, planes aren't exactly made out of solid steel like a flying wrecking ball. They are essentially hollow soft metal tubes that greatly deform and disintegrate on impact.

we had an old wooden shed on the farm. it had to be at least 100 years old. we cut a few timbers and pushed it over with a tractor. the vibrations broke windows in the neighbors house nearly a half mile away. a bit later the sheriff showed up saying neighbors reported an explosion. as each floor collapsed; it should have registered on siesmagraphs miles away. HOWEVER; explosions should not have registered. unless; of course; the explosives were planted in the ground. even then; it would take one hell of an explosion to register.
the energy given off before the collapse was a plane hitting the building. i think there were eye witnesses to that.

did it break the windows BEFORE it fell? b/c again, the greatest energy showed on the seismagraph BEFORE the towers fell...if the explsoives were attached to the building it would reverberate into the ground

and how could it be the plane???? the planes hit well before the towers collapsed, the biggest energy spike was )read slowly) right before it fell. well after the planes hit and before the building started to fall

wait a sec. The weekend before 9/11 on Sept 8th and 9th the power was completely shut off to upgrade the buildings internet cables?!

Guys were walking around everywhere with spools of wire and large toolboxes wiring up the building all over the place just 48 hours prior to 9/11?
    .

i'm sorry, but i usually don't get involved in 9/11 conspiracy bullshit, but i saw the towers on 9/8 from a boat in the harbor that i was working on at night and the lights were on. it was the last time i saw them and they were spectacular that night, so much, that i said it out loud. it left an impression on me even if they were not attacked 3 days later.

    This is one explanation.

the “squibs” appear after WTC7 has begun to fall, as floors sag across the building, and at almost exactly the same time as this effect causes other windows to break. As these also appear to eject more material than the “squibs”, then the most plausible explanation is they’re nothing more than windows breaking as the building falls.

some came before it started to sag

and WHAT CAUSED building 7 to fall? where is this 'disproportionate' collapse?

The top 50 floors of tower 2 were out that weekend.

Forbes, who was hired by Fiduciary in 1999 and is now stationed at a U.K. branch office, was working on the weekend of September 8-9, 2001, and said that his company was given three weeks advance notice that New York’s Port Authority would take out power in the South Tower from the 48th floor up. The reason: the Port Authority was performing a cabling upgrade to increase the WTC’s computer bandwidth.

Forbes stated that Fiduciary Trust was one of the WTC’s first occupants after it was erected, and that a “power-down” had never been initiated prior to this occasion. He also stated that his company put forth a huge investment in time and resources to take down their computer systems due to the deliberate power outage. This process, Forbes recalled, began early Saturday morning (September 8th) and continued until mid-Sunday afternoon (September 9th) – approximately 30 hours. As a result of having its electricity cut, the WTC’s security cameras were rendered inoperative, as were its I.D. systems, and elevators to the upper floors.

Forbes did stress, though, that there was power to the WTC’s lower floors, and that there were plenty of engineers going in-and-out of the WTC who had free access throughout the building due to its security system being knocked out. In an e-mail to journalist John Kaminski, author of The Day America Died (Sisyphus Press) and America’s Autopsy Report (Dandelion Books), Forbes wrote: “Without power there were no security cameras, no security locks on doors, and many, many ‘engineers’ coming in and out of the tower.”

    I know what i saw.
and are you saying that the power to the upper floors and the observation deck was out too? and no one mentioned this before...no tourist who tried to get up there on a saturday? do you really want me to believe that a financial institution would have no power for security? or that their is no back up generator?

As per Scott Forbes: "Many, many people worked on the power down, both from the IT department and from the business, revalidating systems when they were available again. Other people can validate my information. Some people do not remember the circumstances, some people will not revisit that time ... but others acknowledge the power down freely and can validate my information."

First he said that there was no electricity on the upper floors. Then that transcends to knock out all security cameras throughout the building??? Why would a power outage on the top floors (which is being disputed on here by someone working there those days) knock out the security cameras throughout the structure. And as mentioned earlier, this was in one tower. When did the power outage, security camera crisis, and placement of explosives on the other tower take place?

to withstand 180 MPH of a plane made from these same hollow soft metal tubes. They hit the buildings at a much higher rate of speed. What is the difficulty in grasping this key fact that you seem to enjoy overlooking?!?!?

If electricity is turned off for the top 50 floors...devices that rely on electricity won't function on those floors. Who here was working inside the building that weekend?

They were shuffling people around in the buildings. Entire floors were being completely gutted. Elevators didn't stop on these floors i.e. the ones that were being "worked" on. Very easy to control access. They own the building, they could have done whatever and whenever they wanted to on whatever floor in complete privacy and for as long as they wanted to.

    That's the reality.

Does that include entering and exiting the building with all this wiring and toolboxes that only ONE person in the video was an eyewitness to??? Sorry, but even Forbes sounds guilty with his "some people don't want to relive this and some people don't recall this happening" sounds like me telling a lie to my parents when I was 12.

What exactly can't you see? You're can't claim that they hit at a slower rate of speed. Nor can you deny that the building was made to WITHSTAND an impact of a "slow plane lost in the fog" not of some 21st Century Kamikaze nutbag flying it in as fast and as hard as possible. My argument on this point is structural damage caused by the planes. Of which, I think my argument is a pretty strong one.

Well you're forgetting a lot of people that worked in the towers are now dead. Some guy works all weekend, is tired takes the a day off and you're thinking what about that again?

The guy is from the UK working in the WTC towers on assignment. The
buildings are gone...no place to work...he went home.

Why are you (and others alike) so quick to buy the accounts of one random person? I'm not saying to swallow everything a group is feeding you (i.e.official report) but rather to weigh each claim out one by one and try to assess its validity. For example, seeing planes slame into a building is valid, Having a foreign worker on location claiming a power outage is to me cancelled out by the gentleman on here who was working that weekend by the towers. Strength in numbers added to plausibility go a long way with me.

No one said they were working inside the buildings. However, if there was a power outage in the upper floors of the tallest structures in NYC and someone on here was working in the water close to the towers, it would stand out that the whole upper half of the building was completely dark.

Depends on how they arranged to have backup lighting available. they obviously didn't walk around in the dark. How that would have appeared from outside the building is anyone's guess.
