    as vincent's face appeared above me, i realised i might not get out of this.
    i went for the door and pulled it opened. vincent grabbed me and threw me against the tiles. i scrambled backwards until i was wedged into the corner, vincent towering over me. he leaned down right into my face. tears were streaming down my cheeks and i thought, looking into his eyes, that vincent was capable of murder.

    when i felt a hand on me, i instinctly threw it off. it was beth, but right now i didn't want anyone touching me. i was shaking and if i thought it was possible to shatter into a thousand pieces i feel i would have done it.

    again davey's familiarity got the better of him. as he reached towards me, i stood up and pushed him away. he stumbled but held his ground.

    ' i don't need your help.'

    i got past him and went to the sink to wash my face. when i looked into the mirror i saw davey just standing behind me watching. he looked kinda sad.

    i walked out of the bathroom. more than a few people were looking at me. i guess they heard what i said. but i didn't care. i moved as far away from the bathroom as i could. which put me in front of my feet painting. i tried to hide behind two woman who were looking at it, chardonnays in hand. they told me they liked it and i thanked them. i looked over to see gerard walking towards me. i pre empted him before he could chastise me.

    'don't say it gerard..... i'm sorry. i just can't be around him anymore.'
