I had a bad dream last night. I dreamed that I went to a PJ show and I got the worst seats ever!!! I could barely see the stage. I went to the will call and I told them I had been a 10 club member since right before Vs. came out.And my seats must be a mistake. And everyone laughed at me.So I just went and bought a T-Shirt and a poster and left pissed off!!! What does this mean???

Sounds like my seats for my first show back in 1998.....nosebleed behind the stage. I knew not yet of the Ten Club.

So is this gonna be the 'anti-live nation' tour? I mean from what I've heard, it sounds like the band has been booking shows at somewhat unconventional venues this time around. This would kinda explain why they were trying to book a show at Downsview Park in Toronto. It might also explain why some things have 'fallen through'. Booking the tour would also probably take alot longer if a band's management is booking it instead of letting live nation book it for you which they usually do. Has JTR mentioned anything similar about the tour? Also, JTR if you read this, am I 'hot' or 'cold' on this theory, at least from what you have heard?

Primussucks, I wrote this on March 1:

"and then Europe onto US 'weird progression' stops until The Bridge School Benefit and then go into the studio. Weird Progression is the tour order and venue selection."

What I meant is that the band it tired as shit of the usual Live Nation/Clear Channel/Miller Lite promoted and venued shows and are trying to put together a more creative tour that is festive. The South is included. These odd venues and festivals are hard to tie down. The Chicago release this morning came out because I had been told it was ok to run my mouth today because it would be announced today - and I will bet that reporter had the same instructions.

Actually, I like this idea the best... if anybody has any pull around here, it would be great to get the whole group together in a special section for one of the shows, with GREAT seats of course! A central show, like Atlanta...

Oh man, could you imagine how much FUN that show would be? Crap, they'd have to call us out for sure. What an awesome idea! Too bad we can't get seats together..... :(

    Bump.

One of my favorite memories was Nashville '03 Light Years. I think I saw a thread about how good that song is. If anyone has that version, it's really worth a listen - the ending is unique.

    Bump.

See all of this talk of festivals is kind of worrying me. If these shows are in a normal kind of venue with a number of bands then that would be great. But if we're talking Bonnaroo/Lollapalooza style outdoor all day festivals in the middle of summer then I might actually be hesitant on going. The last thing I want to do is wade in an ocean of sweaty drunks all day and not be able to see the stage and enjoy myself. I really hope this isn't the idea.

I hear ya dude, but at the same time it can be a good thing, if anything I think the guys are just sick of being told how long they have to play, having corporate sponsers all over their tickets. I'm not really a fan of them doing a festival tour with a bunch of other bands, but if it meant them headlining everynight playing over 2 and half hours then I wouldn't care. But I totally am looking forward to them playing places that don't have so many freakin rules! Lets hope we hear something soon guys!
