Rather have someone just "standing by his microphone" and deliver (Noel Gallagher, Neil Young etc), than doing rockstar gimmicky stuff like throwing out a thousand picks or windmills, jumping out in the crowd or breathing fire etc.

yeah I don't really have a problem with "standing" as long as the product is good...
I am admittedly not familiar with Oasis except for the big hits. It just seems like an impossible task given the time it took them to get back together and the shit that has happened in the past.
Remember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018) The Golden Age is 2 months away. And guess what….. you’re gonna love it! (teskeinc 11.19.24)

Oasis were rigid in setlists .would never play a song off the cuff. I wouldn't be surprised if they rehearsed 20 odd songs and that's it. I've no problem with that in 2025. 90% of the set would pick itself
i wish i wish i wish i wish, i guess it never stops

I hope there is some life to the setlist. And not justjustjust the first two albums.
And please no Morning Story-celebration tour.
At lesst get a Dya know what I mean, Stop Crying your Heart Out and a Lyla in there.

This was one of the things that killed me about the Crowes resurrection tour. Making it a SYMM tour? Dudes it's been like 10 years what are you doing. We got a lot to catch up on.
Give me whatever songs, as many songs as possible, over and over again.
Just thrilled that I’ll actually have the chance to see them in my lifetime. I was in high school when they broke up and am BUZZING for next August

wait, I thought no criticism of this band is allowed in their thread? haha
Also one persons boring on stage/no stage presence is another 12 million persons idea of a good time. If they have that much demand, well, they are doing something right.
Mark Lanegan always comes to mind for me. He would move maybe 6 inches once he was in front of the mic but I would wrestle anyone who had shit to say about it.
So certain singers can run and jump. Great
But can they bring us nice rocking poppy tunes with an honest John Lennon soul?
Liam delivers that better than any original artist on earth
Just be like me, watch the cbc and prepare to be nauseated next tues.
Now I understand why Canucks know usa politics better than a large swath of Americans. Cbc covers it extensively and well. Which is surprising bc most Americans barely know anything about Canada
As far as me exercising my 1st amendment rights expressing joy at the oasis sound in an oasis topic, not to worry as red hat will take care of that right next week.
I saw Black Sabbath in 1999 on the Ozzfest Tour. Ozzy barely moved away from his microphone the whole show. To be fair even 25 years ago it he didn't look all that mobile. That being said, he rocked the fuck out of that place. The crowd went nuts. It was a helluva show.
I'm getting FOMO for the Oasis tour now. Hoping I can stumble into some Toronto tickets and make the trip (or LA, but ticket prices are cheaper in CAD).
Patiently holding out for the rumored Asia dates at this point so I can plan my Fall Japan trip.....

Pleasantly surprised at all the love for Gas Panic; thought it was just me. I wasn't sure where that one stood in the song rankings.
It’s a top tier song, and the Live Wembley version from 2000 is epic

Liam has switched up decently between tours. And played some fan favorites and ”deepcuts”. Hopefully that is brought over.
