And Richard ashcroft.  Wow. His voice incredible.  Think he summed.it up yesterday on chris Evans. This is not nostalgia.  Its something better.  Ill get the link

Is anyone here looking for a GA ticket for the MetLife 9/1 show? Two friends of mine are considering buying a pair of GAs from someone looking to sell. The catch is the seller has 3 tickets and is looking to sell all 3 at once as a package deal. So if anyone here is potentially interested in a single GA, shoot me a DM and I can put you in touch with my friends to try to work out a deal.

Given it a week since I saw them, just to let the emotion die down, and I will say it’s one of my top 10 shows of all time. Easily the best I’ve seen Oasis play and the crowd was brilliant. Wish I could relive it all again!
Kicking myself for missing this tour, it pains me that I failed to get tickets and by god I tried.

Just hoping they do tour next year as I wont fail again

Oasis have been the musical story of the year for me, the footage I have seen is insane. They are absolutely on top form.
Honestly Paul, if you can swing it, I’d buy tickets on the secondary market for one of the upcoming Wembley shows. You won’t regret it! It’s a moment in time for the UK at least.

Viagogo.com had tickets cheaper than .co.uk for some reason. Wait until 2/3 days before the show and prices start coming down. Given you can show up for doors opening and get front standing makes it worth it.

We bought reseller tickets (luckily only a smidge above face value), but then they posted a shitload of tickets for sale for the Toronto shows this week.  Wouldn't of had any problems getting tickets.   It seems with more and more shows buying tickets at the last second is the way to go.

I could be way off on this but do believe that the live music industry has created its own headwind with years and years of these ticket schemes. They are increasingly training people to wait until last minute to buy tickets and that doesn't just go for giant Oasis shows.

And you know what else happens a bunch when people are trained to wait until the last minute? Other things come up and they don't go at all.

I agree, but the industry knows what they’re doing. They make more off platinum tickets than the face value of seats that remain unsold so they’re winning either way.

I’ve always appreciated PJ and 10c giving us access to the best value tickets. I know this is not so much the case these days but it beats paying 3X face value through touts or Ticketmaster.

I'm playing with this idea Marek - thing is i need 4 tickets. Theres also that prospect of Knebworth next year and the Etihad if the rumours are true so its a question of whether to drop my pants now or to be patient

Kind of boring... narratively that Liam already played two Knebworths by himself(!) a couple of years ago. Not the same kind of bioipic-worthy return now. But maybe they want to beat Robbie Williams 3(?) shows by doing four, just like he beat them.

I just hope Liam forces in Gas Panic! Highlight from when I saw him solo in 2020.

I hope they hit America again next year.... Boston, DC, somewhere Midwest/Texas, somewhere PNW

They EASILY sold out their American shows this run so I hope they return even if it is only for a few

It's interesting how Gillette was the one date from the leaked itinerary that didn't materialize

Toronto had an insane amount of excellent face value tickets drop for both shows over the weekend.

Looking forward to a @Zod review of Toronto!

It was pretty good, but I love being up in the pit in the thick of the die hard crazy fans.   We were over in the first section on the side, but the venue's so wide you're still pretty far away.

Definitely glad we went and had a lot of fun singing along to the songs.   It's crazy how some people are, it's the best show I ever saw, and I'm like it was solid. lol.  Ain't no PJ or Springsteen :)  My favourite show of the year is still Jack White at the Commodore in Vancouver.

Not having platinum tickets only increases total aggregate cost. Having price controls (maximum price) on tickets is an invitation for brokers to flood the on sale. Taylor proved that with her maximum $499 face for Eras tickets worth thousands.

Gotcha. I agree pit is always better and the JW tour was great. Hard to beat small venues. Those Europe crowds sure looked crazy for Oasis in videos so curious how the North American shows will compare. I suppose it’s probably pretty different.

I'm happy I was up in the "rafters" for Oasis at Wembley. I would not have wanted to be down in the pit instead (and at concerts I am usually in the pit). It was such an awe inspiring thing to get to see the whole stadium in front of and around you acting in joyful unison like that. I imagine a show in Canada/USA/Europe would be different from the UK in that regard though.

PJ aint no Oasis in the UK. Not Springsteen either.
