Managed to get a Ticketmaster resale ticket to Dublin Saturday show for about 350 euros. Great seat in the lower section 306. The price is somewhat steep, but not as bad as the dynamic prices. This was some premium package thingy.
Dublin was my first choice, and managed to book hotel before the prices went up.
Hoping for a Sunday ticket as well, but I've got a year to sort it out. At least I know I am going now.

I am going to wait and hope they come to the US. Excursion outside of London? Go to the cotswolds. I am lucky to have been there a few times.

Why 2026? All the rumors were for next year, after the UK/Ireland shows.

I have to say that I think this band is overrated as hell.

I really like Champagne Supernova, Live Forever...Acquiesce and Supersonic are ok...other than that meh

And Liam is just a fucking prick. He's not that great and he doesn't write anything.

Agreed, I personally never understood the appeal.

I have a friend who's not into music much, but MAN does he love Oasis. I always kind of got a kick out of it as he couldn't care less about any other band.

    To each his own.

What's the Story Morning Glory is one of the great 90s rock albums. They made some great music. Liam can still sing and Noel can still play. I do not think they are overrated but Liam should have stopped that nonsense about comparing them to the Beatles.

  • part of it I think was having our own "beatles of our generation". I think they wrote a lot of really good songs. Some forgettable sound-alikes, but a lot of good stuff.

It's hardly surprising, Liam can't sing for shit live. It's all about the attitude with him; he thinks the swagger will mask just how bad a singer he is and always has been.

Yeah his attitude doesn't match his talent. I wouldn't mind seeing them live but probably won't pay too much.

Yeah, it maybe wasn't as strong as some of his other recent shows, but it was fine.

The Oasis Facebook page is brutal to be a part of.  People just complain and complain and complain.....

I just can't imagine begging for a reunion for 15 years, just for it to finally happen and then complain about voice, prices, tickets, etc

Well, thats just it. People feel swindled by the prices and if they missed out on tix, they feel bitter. combine that with living in cynical times and having unlimited outlets to express frustration, and there you have it.

Not on Facebook, but complaints about how the ticket sales were handled are justified. That said, time to move on!

15 year absence has done wonders for their popularity. It seemed like 15 - 20 years ago, they were having trouble selling out midsized venues. Now they're selling out stadiums.

It will be interesting to see what happens with the US shows. There is no doubt some pent up demand but I cannot fathom dealing with a football stadium to see this band.

Looks like only Toronto, NY, Chicago and LA

Also, don't love the wording of the announcement "You have one last chance...."

Sounds like this might be a one and done kind of reunion tour

It's interesting that they feel like they have to hold back the other cities
  • Are they even that popular in the USA?
