35 shows, and 9-11-98 is my fave. My first time in the city and at the Garden. I've been back for every tour, and each time it's fantastic.

I'm a Bostonian (living in Cali now ... you know, "you can take the boy out of Boston, but you can't take Boston out of the boy. ") ... actually, was a week away from moving to NYC, plans changed, and now I'm on the west coast (someone insert "shut up hippie" here)

Again, I think what you're hearing here ... as it is with Red Sox fans .... as it is with many things in life, is the vocal minority. 90% of us don't need to shit on NYC, there no need for it.

Both are great cities ... both have had amazing PJ shows ... both have insanely solid histories with their sports teams. Why does one have to be better than the other? Who gives a shit? .... if you like where you are ... good ... stay there and shut it. No need to feel BETTER than someone else.

I'll be hitting up my first MSG shows on this tour (I'll be the guy in the front row in the Red Sox hat you'll be throwing shit at ... c'mon lottery!) .... followed by shows 9 and 10 in Mansfield ...

I'm psyched for all 4 ... and hope every show rocks all your damn faces off.

Now, can't Boston and NY let their anger go and come together as one ....

I can't even stress to you that MSG isn't overrated. I've seen 2 PJ shows there and they were some of the best I've seen. every artist, be it a rock band or a circus performer, turns it up a notch for MSG. I saw Roger Waters in Philly and MSG. the setlist was identical and the performance was just as good each time......but there was just something about MSG that was better.

you expect "unique setlists as per the usual" in Boston huh? gimme a break. they had three nights in Boston in '03 and so went through the entire cataloge in that "experiment." I thought that was cool. but I never expected people from Boston to think that they're cool because of it!
