Oak Creek actually, a Milwaukee suburb.
At work right now in the Third Ward.

nice... I've heard of Oak Creek... I used to live in Cedarburg, just north of Milwaukee...
    Great city, I miss it!
  • Sorry to ask this but I'm still confused by this Radiohead thing. Is it the full album that can be downloaded or will there be more songs when it will be released ?
  • pjtaperpjtaper Posts: 3,020
not a silly question, I don't have the answer because their website makes NO SENSE!

This is the official full length album. If you bought the discbox version you will reveive a second disc of b-sides in phsical CD form.
  • I think it's really good but I'm kind of lukewarm about a few things:

They removed the first chorus from "Bodysnatchers". That sucks!

"Jigsaw" is a stripped down acoustic version and it doesn't have any of Jonny's sick leads that made the live version so exciting!!!

"Videotape" is a ponderous and boring version and it has none of the passion of the live versions.

This "Reckoner" is a totally different song than the 2000 "Reckoner".

I was really hoping those 4 particular songs would turn out awesome but they're kind of a letdown for me.

You might just want to look around the net to see if you can find a link since the official site is down.

I just listened to the entire album for the first time. I think it's overall quite good.
I'll have to listen to it a few times to have a real feedback but there are a few nice tracks.

  • I'm currently on Faust Arp, I'm really loving it so far. One difference i'd like to point out is this seems to be instantly working for my ears. Kid A through Hail really took a lot of time for me to get into. In Rainbows is more of an istant appreciation. Good stuff. Production wise, its very tight & concise. So far, the highlights are All I Need & 15 Step.

brilliant album in my opinion.. and an ever better test of how records could be distributed in the future.

Please don't torrent this album, grab it from their site, you can get it for 45pence if you feel cheap, but its an experiment.

Wow... it's kind of like if you combined Kid A with OK Computer!!
Whoa, chill bro... you know you can't raise your voice like that when the lion's here.
  • Definitely thing it is on par with Kid A...not much experimentation as Amnesiac. But the songs themselves are better then HTTH. Alot of strings on this one. I just wish it had one more electric guitar track at the end to give a bit more energy to the second half of the album(Bangers N' Mash would have been perfect) but it's really good.

    Thanks ... good news !
