it can be tough unless you know where to park and are willing to walk up to six blocks...

We are coming in from Madison early so is there a lot or something that we can park in for the day? Any help is appreciated!

theres some underground parking at millenium park (across the street from the venue)... pretty affordable... not sure where exactly you get into there since i never drive downtown... but look into that if you absolutely must drive

Sorry to re-post but I am not from the area and I could really use more help on where to park for the day. We will be trying to get there before 2 from Madison, WI and looking for a place to park. Any help would really be appreciated! Thanks!!!!!!

there is a lot at the corner of Dearborn and Harrison about 1/2 block from the bar that is good, affordable.

There is garage one block west at the corner of Harrison and Clark that should not cost too much.

There is also a garage across from the theater but might cost a bit more.


By affordable I mean $8-$12, getting in earlier might help cuz some lots will raise the price by charging the event price which could be $20 or more.

I've been reading these boards on and off for a long time now but I'm delurking because I really want to meet some local fans and hang out before the Thursday show. (Can't make it to anything before the show on Friday.) I hope that's cool, and I know I suck for being a total newbie.

I can't wait for these shows. It's kind of driving me crazy.

Welcome! You will be happy you attended one of the parties. There are really a lot of great people at them, both putting them on and attending. Just don't be shy and go say hi to people and you will have fun!

Myself, my wife, and another friend will be at Kasey's on Friday, can't wait! Probably will be hitting Chicago around 3ish, so hopefully traffic won't be too fucked yet.
