    JET use dave sardi as a producer. he's produced oasis. i can hear oasis in JET, just as i hear one of their songs as a total ripoff of the viines.. i don't like hearing oasis in JET and that is despite me being both a JET fan and an oasis fan. we have better bands in australia than JET. but that is just my personal opinion. :)

    Yuo're gonna have to explain that one, I'm not getting it. Kudos to you for having your own likes and dislikes, I just never got in to Jet. MInd you, I didn't really get into Oasis either, nor do I like the Beatles, which apparently makes me a total freak.

    dude, the press says that about every band that comes out with a decent debut album. it's annoying cos it gets people's expectations ridiculously high and it makes some people refuse to give bands a fair hearing becos they're trying so hard to be so cool and thus have to be anti-anything-fun.

    This is so true, I have friends who nevere listened to nay White Stripes cos all teh hype put them off.

    Jet are a classic case of too cool for school, can't have any fun.
    Contrasting heavily with for example, Arctic Monkeys, who just seem to be balls to wall good time guys !!
