Edit: The subject should say "Jet ARE a better band than Pearl Jam." My apologies to all grammatically offended. By the way, have yourself a Zima with a Jolly Rancher and shut the fuck up.

Anyway, Jet rock out, don't think they are the saviors of rock, and frankly don't give a fuck if you think that they're derivative of their influences, because what band isn't?

JET rule. A band of drunks a la Oasis who simply don't care what anyone (my guess this includes message board people) thinks and just do what they do.

An Oasis/Jet/Buckcherry bill would just slay. They could call it the "You're All A Bunch Of Bloody Fookin' Wankas!" tour. ANd I'd definitely go.

    hmmm comparing a band that has been around for 16 years to a band that well...hasn't. a band that hasn't had the chance to get comfortable in their own skin. a band that has only put out 2 full length albums.
    dont get me wrong i do love JET. have since i first heard them. but to call them the saviours of rock is just a tad preposterous.
    for the past 5 years ive watched JET's evolution from australian pub band to international rockstars. i've seen them in small venues and huge festivals. ive had my ears blown out by them and been disappointed as they were blown off the stage by wolfmother.
    in 39 days i get to see them again in a small venue. with me will be my JET loving nearly 8 year old. this is a child who thought that are you gonna be my girl? was written for her. and that was when she was 3. i wish such good things for this band, probably cause they're australian and so am i. but in the end it doesn't matter what other people think. all that matters is that i get pleasure from their music.

    Jet is one of those bands that makes me want to throw up. They have absolutely nothing to contribute to music, and should simply go away. It is mindless cock-rock.

    Jet is easily one of the best bands of the new millenium..........that beind said, the new millenium pretty much sucks for rock music and Pearl Jam is a much better and more successful band.
