Yeah...9:30 club claims DBT is going on at 10:30, according to someone on the Yahoo list who called them.
NPR says 11, and then I read somewhere on that list that NPR isn't doing this live anymore...but just posting it as a podcast later.
That may just be the interview though...since this link is still up, I imagine it'll be on the net live.
I'll be there in person, so...Teamwork. Rawk. Pwnage. Infinite Possibilities. YIELD. Hells yeah.0 -

No shit. They started early on me...I didn't turn on the show until 10:00, so I missed a couple songs.
I listened for about an hour before sleep got the better of me.
Sounded like a great show...I was just extremely tired.
Apparantly, the show will be available to hear on NPR...that's what I read on the Nine Bullets board.

There's no way I'd be able to go to work after going to a show like that. You are a strong man my friend.

No kidding. Lookout Mountain right out of the gate. Just fired it up for a Sunday Morning listen."You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

the NPR setlist is fucked up.
they played Aftermath USA (it's missing from the list), and I don't remember "one of these days"
someone may have just mixed the titles there...Teamwork. Rawk. Pwnage. Infinite Possibilities. YIELD. Hells yeah.0 -

I got recommended these earplugs last time I saw a DBT show:
http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/er20.aspx
They work great, and really help seperate out the sound. I can pick up a lot more detail in a live performance wearing them (plus they are reuseable). Well worth the $12 investment to be able to hear the next day."You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. I made it into the Plan 9 benefit show. It's literally 2 blocks from my place so I had gone with the intentions of standing outside to listen with a buddy because I knew that tiny record store was sold out but we convinced the girl at the door to let us in for the regular ticket price and we threw an extra 5 dollar donation. I have seen the truckers before but holy shit this was the most amazing, intimate show ever. It's so sad what happened to the family that owned World of Mirth toystore across the street from plan 9 (that's what the benefit was for). It was all lit up. A lot of emotion going on in that place. DBT played their hearts out and their stories were incredible. The said Richmond and Athens are their two favorite towns and that show the other night in Plan 9 was their favorite they have ever played because of the cause and all the old friends around. The show was recorded and supposed to be released at some point. They also gave out these awesome Wes Freed posters at the end for free. That band is so fucking amazing. What an amazing night. I listened to the taping of the DC show and that sounded great as well.0

Great review, really well written and great insight into the performance. Glad you emphasized the 'It's great to be alive' part of World of Hurt, Patterson really puts his soul into that part.
This show is up over on bt.etree.org for downloading (I'm sure it'll get to archive.org soon too. The torrent address is:
