the contrast in 10 years is pretty cool.
    love the harmonica.
the present day version seems alot more somber .

I've listened to the Born to Run album numerous times, but today I finally felt the power of Night. Terrific song. I hope to hear it live.

I like the new song alot.
I havent figured out if it has to do with the subject matter/new material,
or just the fact that its Bruce.

I have to agree with this article about this turning out to be the most misinterpreted Bruce song since BITUSA ( and Ronald Reagan  )

:lol: I read that article, too, and I agree it will be misinterpreted. Glenn Beck (at the time of this video) was 26 years late on the meaning of Born In the USA.

I wonder if a politician will be using the song this year.

Funny how Rolling Stone changed WOAD's rating from 5 stars to 4 stars.

That is funny. They were way off on that initial review. Springsteen is probably the music I have listened to the most in the last three years (I was late to the party) but WOAD is just not good.

It wasn't really my intro to him; I had heard the classics, like "Born to Run", "Glory Days", and "Born In the USA" and liked them a couple years before the WOAD album came out, but it was the first full album I listened to and owned. Then I went to the classic albums that my dad had.

yeah i figured it was too early...i think i paid $90-ish for the last tour...for seats that were about 10 rows from the top...still a great show!

The ticket prices are the same for this tour as they were for the 2009 tour ($96-$98 with MSG being an extra $5), although I see that there's tiered pricing options (i.e. some cheaper seats) at MSG and Cleveland... not sure about the other facilities.

I've been looking at one of the MSG shows. The two days off between MSG shows has me suspicious, maybe that there are more shows. Or maybe a stop in CT before the Boston show.

It surprises me that there's no CT show because he always stops here.

I've only seen Bruce once and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. I'm hoping they do the GA floor thing again. Its better for bodysurfing! For Bruce, of course... :D

And I read for DC it's 71 and 101 without charges. So probably around 10 bucks more for each.
