  • I went to the third and fourth shows in Calgary, and they were fucking amazing! I was just wondering if anyone knows if they still play Looking For A Place To Happen live? It's one of my favourites, and it wasn't on the setlists from Toronto or Calgary

one of my faves too. great song!

...according to their website, only played 19 times live...last time 10/04/2004...only four times total since 2000, so i would say not very often :(

they've pulled a few from the archives so far...you never know...;)

Best music forum on the Net! (no offence to the Message Pit of course). I post there all the time and I use the same username as I do here. It's a great community over there. Everybody should come check it out and introduce themselves.

dont worry about him. he's brain damaged. he likes heavy metal and he's very angry about being 15 and developing new pimples faster than he can pop them.

    awesome! very lucky. :)
  • ok, so, this has been bugging me for some time....

Fingers and toes, fingers and toes, forty things we share....
forty-one if you include the fact that we don't care....

ok, so obviously, he's taking into account both people's fingers and toes in order to arrive at the number forty.

Now, for consistancy sake, should we not take into account BOTH people's indifference as well?

Should this not say Forty-TWO if you include the fact that we don't care??? ;)

    argh... i hate inconsistancies! :p

lol! I never caught that before. Nicely done! And I agree, it should probably be forty-two. But the song just wouldn't sound the same and it would totally throw me off.

    awesome! very lucky. :)

I've gotten lucky with the shows I've seen. I've gotten to hear Fire In The Hole, Cordelia, Boots Or Hearts, Last Of The Unplucked Gems into Dire Wolf (simply amazing), Tiger the Lion and Scared amongst numerous others.

    ok Canucks...

why is "Boots or Hearts" as facination with you guys...?

There's no bigger Hip fan on this forum but that song sounds like a bad country tune to me...

    What's the attraction?

    I don't get it...
