first off thank you....i just read something about if the print is touching the glass it could cause mildew.is this true? i had this done at a local art and craft store and they had not mentioned this to me let alone the poster sticking to the glass...i do not ever plan on unframing it or taking it out...it is just that this is a print from the 2005 tour that is from ames and it is a what they called a "test print".it is signed and numbered 1/1 by both barry and colby..and i do not not want to harm this poster in any way..it is one of a kind....thanks for any info....

You should always keep a poster off the glass if you're concerned about it lasting. If you don't want a mat, use those clear spacers, that's what my gorge poster has. I don't know of a place online that'll precut that for you though.

Here's my framed Randall's Island poster. I wanted to do something cool with it since it was a near miracle that I got it home intact - it was pouring rain that night. Hat's off to my frame guy. He worked with me for a long time designing it.

It's cool that you think the frame should be black. I just wish my image really did the red frame justice. The red letters in "Pearl Jam" on the poster are ribbed with lines. The frame has a similar texture. I also purposely picked red because I wanted to play off of the upper, happier part of the poster.

I actually think red was a great choice, and your framing guy did an amazing job! It's the most creative Randall's Island (if not any poster, period) I've seen yet.

Where are all the framed Showbox 04 posters? I got mine done, but haven't seen another one out there. Probably one of the cooler posters I've seen. Post em if you got em!!
Just got my Missoula 05 and Gorge posters done using americanframes.com. I need to adjust the Tester one a bit and might try to find a different mat since it is more maroon than I like, but the frames were pretty easy to assemble and pretty cheap too. The red wristband was what they had people with front row tickets wearing.

Awesome job on the Matting!!, I did mine very boring, all are black so they would match my plasma tv, then I ended up getting a silver Plasma? Figures!!
