Just had a look and it's not on there now, they have the '96 one listed(although sold out)at $600!
Doh! just looked properly and it is there;and ordered, well i hope so the process seemed to stall so i've sent them an e-mail to confirm it's gone through. Thanks for the info btw.
I know this has probably been discussed somewhere in this thread but does the type of matte matter that much? The four types on americanframe.com are described as good, good, better, and best with the better and best ones being 100% acid-free. I know acid-free is the best but what about the one with the acid-free core and backing? Is that any good? There are some really cool colors in that one that aren't in the other two. Thanks.
Does anyone have any ideas about this? Someone mentioned that the tulip color mat might be a good match for the Borgata pink but it is not available in the 100% acid-free mats on americanframe.com (only the acid-free core and backing one). Would using that fuck up the poster? Thanks.

Acid-free core + acid-free backing should really be enough. I think extreme archivalists would go for the 100%, but if you've got a color match in core/back, and aren't obsessed with preserving your poster for eternity (just, you know, a hundred years or so), just go for it. Hope this helps.

Damn!! That actually makes that ugly ass poster presentable. That's a great job. I have way too many to frame before I could even think about framing a St. John's 2005 but that's a excellent framing job. Very nice.
I got this through a trade and couldn't be happier with the framing job. It's not in its final resting place yet. I'll post more pics down the road of my collection after I move into my new crib.

Scratch that.. The local framing place forgot to put in my order...I had ordered mattes, glass and backing. I was gonna get those cheap metal frame kits until I could afford nicer frames. I went to pick them up today. They were like, whoops!!...I was pretty upset until they offered custom frames at 50% off and to agreed to assemble everything at no cost. The Borgata matte I ordered is awesome...It looks like record vinyl..The frame is black with red on the edges..I can't wait to see it. Once again, I will post pics when they are done.
Your signed Music for Relief poster is sweet. Did Jack and Kyle sign it ??
Yeah, my buddy got that for me at the show. I guess they had a small stack of posters that were signed before the show on sale for $100. I believe Kyle's signature is under Ed's and above Dave's.
I'm still so stumped on the Kitchener...I've seen some nice ones in this thread though. I have a s/n Kitchener I got in trade, and want to put that with my ticket stubs, and the CD's (an idea I had all but tossed out until I saw the picture a page or 2 back of the st john's. its awsome!) I have my original from the show as well, that got beat to shit during the concert. I used it as a test run...cheap ikea frame, and construction paper to test colors. I have it hanging with a red border right now, ill try and post pics when i get home. I'm going to toy with multiple colors this weekend. Hope i find a gem!
Here's a mix of a few of the posters I have framed and in my portfolio. The Portugal and Ireland are the latest additions. I don't want to move around pictures on Photobucket and possibly remove them. So they are a little jumbled. Enjoy - http://photobucket.com/albums/f266/locolion/?sc=3

Sweet posters. I hope i pull that Portugal in the round 3 mystery sale!
I got my frame and materials for my Gorge poster today from americanframe.com and I immediately put it together and hung it up! This was the first poster I ever framed and I was pleased with how it turned out:

I like that a lot. I want to Matte it but the frames end up being so damn big.
most impressive chicagone.
you've got ~$2K-$3K worth of art right there.
Chicagone, where did you snag the HOB test print? Sweet collection.
