i buy a $10 18x 24 poster frame from michaels. cut 1/2 inch off each side and hang it on my wall

I've been using those cheap frames to get my posters out of their tubes and flatten out. The one I bought for my Mexico is huge. If you have a Mexico and it is in a tube, you may want to think about getting it out of there and store it flat. That paper is so thick it is going to take a while for mine to flatten out now. IMO the Mexico is highly under rated. It is one of my favorite posters.

My wife is not into the posters and she has told me that there aren't many in my collection that have a chance of seeing wall space in our house. Well I have a son who has begun to idolize his father. I predict that he will grow to become a huge Pearl Jam fan with some really cool posters in his room. He asks me from time to time to take out my posters so he can look at them. He also sits on my lap when I surf the EB site. He loves the '03 Kansas City Tin Man so that is one I'll have to try and acquire. ;)

  • that 98 vegas poster is just phat! i need it.
He is alive but feels absolutely nothing.
    So is he?
When he was six he believed that the moon overhead followed him.
By nine he had deciphered the illusion trading magic for fact.

Hey, that's a sweet Philly frame job. Is that from americanframe.com or a professional job? Looks good.

The general consensus is that over time, your print's ink will end up sticking to the glass/acrylic. If that's something that will bother you, then you might have issue. If you never plan on removing the prints from their frames, you should be fine.

first off thank you....i just read something about if the print is touching the glass it could cause mildew.is this true? i had this done at a local art and craft store and they had not mentioned this to me let alone the poster sticking to the glass...i do not ever plan on unframing it or taking it out...it is just that this is a print from the 2005 tour that is from ames and it is a what they called a "test print".it is signed and numbered 1/1 by both barry and colby..and i do not not want to harm this poster in any way..it is one of a kind....thanks for any info....
