framed poster thread

And opinions please! Finally taking the plunge of getting my PJ posters framed. The UK 06, Wembley and Nijmegen posters are kind of boring because I couldn't really think of any interesting way of presenting them (with all the thick black lines on a white background Black frame with white mount seemed the obvious choice).

Wembley http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3347/358 ... 6d.jpg?v=0
Nijmegen http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3407/358 ... 6b.jpg?v=0
Copenhagen http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3393/358 ... 78.jpg?v=0
Dusseldorf http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2447/358 ... 40.jpg?v=0
The problem comes with Katowice. I can either go for frame A or frame B. I love A but it's twice the price of B so not sure if it's really worth it.
Frame A http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3558/358 ... 7b.jpg?v=0
Frame B http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2440/358 ... d8.jpg?v=0
...or there's always the plain ol' black frame.
Also, the cheapest I can seem to find a poster framing place in the UK is 60-70 quid for each poster. Is that alright for the UK or is there some special secret place that does a better deal?
They all look great. Although I generally dislike gold frames, but frame A does look great with that poster.
All the poster's I've had done so far have been done with a plain, cheap, black frame - kind of like the idea of having all frames the same so the art itself is the focus (at least I'll keep telling myself that with the cost of frames/framing! )http://www.wishlistfoundation.org

I got a sweet pearl jam lithograph from easy street records in west seattle and my grandma framed it and now I understand why you guys all frame your posters it looks so cool!
I love it! it looks damn good up on the wall.
I think this could become an expensive habit of mine
heres a pic, i took it on my phone camera so the quality sucks but still cool i think.

My idea to have quite big frames that suit each poster kinda imploded when I saw prices. Now I've decided to have 37mm frames for each poster in colours that suit each poster (so bronze for Copenhagen, pine for katowice... black for everything else).Paul

My first time showing something here

LOVE IT! I will prob do something similar but with a red border. The pink is really nice, although the red's were a more limited run the pink looks much better in my opinion.baby boomers selling you rumors of their history, forcing youth away from the truth of what's real today.0
