Just missed a decent Floor pair for ATL N2. Good to see some action, tho!

These are actually awful seats.  Row Q in the 3rd layer of floor sections is about the same as watching from the parking lot.  Unless you're 7 feet tall, you cannot see the stage.  The top row in the upper level is actually a much better spot than this.  I've been in a similar spot and out of the 16 shows I've attended, this was the worst by far.  The only positive is that you would be steps away from the beer vendor and bathroom.
I'm 6'3, so Floor doesnt bother me.

Crazy.  I'm 6'2.   For me, if the whole floor is seated.  I'm not very enthusiastic about being more than 20 rows back on the floor.   Once you get past about row 25, the angle with stage still makes it hard to see over everyone.   I'd rather being side stage or in the close wing sections than back of a floor.

I'm not sure how people deal with floor at stadium concerts where there's over 100 rows.. lol.
I mean, I prefer wings or GA as well. But when it's tight like it is now, any seat on a 6 city/11 show tour is a good seat lol.
    6 and 11?

Aren’t most if not all music festivals GA? Does 10c run lotteries for music festival appearances.

You never know they might come to Ottawa Bluesfest. It’s the same idea as NOLA Jazzfest, it morphed into just a big music festival with different genres as headliners.

NOLA Jazzfest has always been more than just Jazz, since day 1.  They are 95% GA with some VIP packages that give different seating options.  For the rail surfers, you’d have to get there early and sit through an entire day of other bands. Pending weather (can be crazy hot and rainy for NOLA JF) could make it interesting. That said, I’ve seen some incredible shows there with once in a lifetime type collabs because of how many musicians are all in one place at the same time.

Yep just speculated at this point. Strong rumors but I never count my chickens until the official announcement. Either way we’ll know soon- announcement will presumably be in the next week or two.

Thanks! Ottawa Bluesfest same idea, we had Jelly Roll as a headliner last year. The sitting around outside in humid July weather is a big challenge but very rewarding in the end.

Per TM’s suggestion, I created a second account when my primary was blocked. Just now, when checking Hollywood for the first time in 2 hours, that account was also blocked. In response to my last email thread with a support specialist, I sent them a screen recording of exactly how I check for tickets on my phone (across 3 shows)… asking for clarification on what aspect of the behavior violates the terms of use… and also asking for clarification on how I should be attempting to get in-demand tickets through F2F if said behavior is against terms of use. As expected, no answer was given to those questions. But my new account was blocked anyway despite checking less frequently and deliberately counting between taps when I check. Kind of at my wit’s end here. 😐

    WTF

Seriously, time to write to 10C & ask them to intervene. It's ridiculous that actual real human fans get blocked from purchasing tickets.

I tried that 19 days ago. The only response I got was an email with the phone number of the Pearl Jam Press Relations person. She was already CCed along with the GM on the original email to start with. Did they really want me to call?

The whole thing is frustrating. I just open the tabs to the shows I'm looking for and random check throughout the day. I might get lucky but I think I'll just have to wait three months. I might just start an account(s) exclusively for F2F show and throw then away.

there's no incentive for anyone on the tm/10c side to do anything to help with f2f tix. they already got their money and people purchasing f2f tix don't add anything to their bottom line. it's why we'll never see them offer tix holders to sell theirs for lower than what they paid- it's pimp out the premiums and whatever unsold tix there are near show date as much as possible and that's it. normal people buying and refreshing f2f tix (and/or reselling f2f tix after they upgrade or can't go) are only a "drain" on their system with no monetary benefit to them and i would not be one bit surprised if that's why folks' accounts are getting blocked on an increasingly frequent basis. it's the fan-friendly service we've all come to expect from ticketbastard.

Maybe but since that’s their solution and it’s not my main account what do I care. If they wish to play games let’s play game. Half tempted to rent a bot and see what happens but I’m not there yet.

Fair, does being banned from TM affect your 10c lottery chances for upcoming tours since TM run the lottery?

did anyone see the FB post where someone sent a link to tickets to another member but that person was unsuccessful and the EXACT tickets then popped up as PJ Premium moments later. Leading them to speculate TM bought them back and posted as premium. Screenshots were not included but if that is true that is WILD and 10C should absolutely get involved if that is in fact happening.

Yes I saw it. It’s concerning for sure, but I’m skeptical unless/until they post screenshots of the same.

Extremely skeptical, the poster wouldn’t confirm that they showed up on TM let alone as PJ premium, couldn’t provide screenshots of his original tickets and claimed they weren’t listed anymore which if they were $800 premium tickets in section 119 (if I recall correctly) they wouldn’t have sold that quickly. They also said when the person opened the link the purchase option was for $800 not the original face value.

A lot of people who aren’t used to buying f2f tickets and the necessity to check out quickly are reporting issues where they were bought so fast it must be bots, it must be something out of their control. The amount of successful link purchases among people here is counter to that being the case including with GA tickets. Open to additional feedback on this though from people unsuccessful with links.

There was a post much earlier in this thread claiming the same thing. I’m also extremely skeptical. Until somebody posts a receipt for ~$200 tickets and then a screenshot of those same exact seats listed on TM as PJ Premium, it’s just BS. There’s probably no ill intent from the posters, just misunderstanding or human error. But TM has lots of less obvious ways to rip off consumers and manipulate the market. They wouldn’t do anything that stupid and obvious.

^^ this. It's financially a better move for TM to let the fan eat the ticket than to take on the additional risk that they can turn it.

This 100%. A lot of people who aren't spending time on the forum are much less privy to the ins and outs of F2F. Frankly, it is a confusing process if you're not studying up on what works and what doesn't (when to refresh, when not to, the seller being prepared to copy and send the link quickly, the buyer knowing the checkout page like the back of their hand, and so on).

I've seen people on the FB pages celebrating face value "wins" on $600 tix because they're listed as Face Value Exchange instead of PJ Premium. It's confusing, and it's easier to blame the bots and point the finger at TM. I'd also argue those who spend a lot of time posting on Facebook groups are particularly quick to wipe their hands of any mistake and jump to conspiracy - but maybe that's a personal gripe.

The fact that bots exist shows that it's not a bad financial move. I'm sure TM wouldn't decline to snatch up $200 tickets that they could then reprice as $800 premiums (or $700, etc) due to risk, but I definitely don't think that's actually happening until we see the proof.

Yep. I do have sympathy because I didn’t know how it worked at first either, and it is difficult and a very imperfect system but it’s what we got and the onus right now is on the fans to figure out how to be successful in this environment. The people here are generally used to it and know what to do whereas FB has way more first time buyers and I guess less tech savvy people. And yeah the post devolved into conspiracy theory like, of course TM does this and they have since day one, PJ endorses it, etc, which I have less patience for but very open to helping those who want it. Most there and on the PJ subreddit don’t want it though.

I lean toward tossing the f2f system after this tour and let the open market set the price. Do what DMB does and monitor the sale of fan club originated tickets and actually take action by suspending accounts and will calling when sales occur over face value. Despite how it seems it is possible to differentiate and track fan club tickets even now with these mobile ones. It does rely on self-policing though and reporting above face sales. Either way we’re beyond the point of this process creating more issues than it’s solving.

I don't think it's happening either as anything coming from FB should be taken with a LARGE grain of salt. I just found it interesting and annoying
