The way to fix this is painful but would alleviate the issues
    1. no GA, seats with lottery rows
    2. 1 show a person. Anything left of 10c ticket allotment open 10c lottery
    3. either no resale of tickets or open resale to whomever you want.

You cannot not have a GA section at a Pearl Jam concert.

Another way to fix F2F, when you receive a 10C tix via lottery regardless GA or Reserved in the email notification they should give us a  generated code to enter on the F2F page. Similar to presale codes or their bootleg codes they give us. You will use that code to make a listing, and if the code goes unused it expires 48 hrs prior to the show.

Why not? They didn’t have GA until 2013.

the GA is a lottery ticket. It generates multiple accounts in households and incentivizes brokers to go for tickets.
if they are stuck with marginal seats because of their seniority it’s not worth it. It than decreases demand.

Why do you say you cannot not have a GA section? I agree, it would be a great change back.

I just think GA is a blast! However the demographic of the band is changing and some don’t like it. Although Bruce still has a GA section and people had a blast!

Im pro GA and getting rid of it isn’t the solution.

Haha, they are sensitive to that label. I agree, couldn’t get a show token to any of the shows I attended.

PJ merch guy said they didn’t anticipate how popular they’d be and didn’t order nearly enough to meet demand

The tokens? I figured, it’s a great icebreaker! It’s just annoying to see them online for a lot than they went for

Next time, if they're offered, I won't hesitate. Can make nice necklaces.

Not just Bruce. The Rolling Stones still have a GA and from experience the average age is a couple decades more than for Pearl Jam. For PJ most people are in my age band. For the Stones it's a generation above. Their GA is also bigger because of stadiums vs arenas. The easiest fix for F2F is have a separate one for 10C and one for the public. It would at least give 10C members a better chance. They could even be part of the same listing but require a code to unlock.

Yes, 10c should have a unique code to unlock the listing.

So I finally heard back from my open ticket with Ticketmaster. I "lost" my appeal and my account is banned from making future ticket purchases.

Funny because I was unbanned yesterday and am able to look at, buy, and sell tickets. What an abso-fucking-lute joke of company. Is the person responding to my ticket unaware my account is live again? I want to reply with something sly but I will restrain myself. I struggle to figure out how that company operates on a daily basis...

Yes because I got rejection two today. Same form letter too. Two more to go. I have a feeling the appeal part was automated. The irony of TM using bots to accuse people of being bots is not lost on me. The initial part was not because I went back and forth with the person with some pretty specific points. I’ll admit I gun shy to look too much but there seems to have been a slow down of F2F anyway.

I know what you mean. I am really not going to access F2F or sell the few tickets I need to sell for a few weeks. Since I just got my account back I am going to lay low for a few weeks with it.

My plan as well. Either there is a ridiculous amount of demand for these tickets. Whether that is real or artificial, I am not sure.

But I’m going to lay low for a bit….that being said ISO 1 for Pitt 1 haha.

I’d loved a heads up if either of you have Raleigh (or even Atlanta because I might be able to work that in instead). The weirdest thing about most of these shows is they are all looking like MSG/Philly in 2024 instead of the West coast shows. Strange or Ticketmaster has gotten better at inventory control.

I'd be afraid that if GA went away, some of the closer rows would go platinum :(
