For those successful with links, have ANY of them been for either Pittsburgh show?
Yes. For Pitt N2. I originally bought a nosebleed in a artist presale. A week later a kind person offered me a better seat, and dropped me a link via messenger.

At this point TM is messing around with a paid benefit of the membership. I’m surprised it’s happening. Maybe next album/tour things will be different?

U2 Fans say HI! The main difference is that community has greater pull and the desire (see what I did there?) to try to make things right. They've been fighting for their fans for a very long time. It's not as if the Fan Club is run better that PJ with similar delays on the annual gifts much like PJ's old Christmas Singles. It's just that when it comes to tickets they step up.

100%, if push comes to shove with benefits I think the PJ community would want more aid on obtaining tickets than merch.
its interesting how other musicians run their clubs. They could easily take the Taylor swift approach and not offer any sort of fan club or ticket perks and we are on our own to find tickets.

Be careful what you wish for....doesn't Ticketmaster have direct control over the U2 fan club now? Is that something 10C members want? TM with full control and the band losing any visibility to the process?

I’m confused, didn’t KJ228171 say that U2 stick up for their fans trying to obtain tickets?
I couldn’t find any info only saying that TM runs their club, all I could find is that U2 fans have the same issues as us when it comes to tickets. (F2F, random lottery, senior members gettting a complete shut out)

Saw they were snagged by someone on Facebook from a shared link to the page. Multiple people trying from link. So chalk one up for a fan and not a bot!
can you feel this world with your heart and not your brain?
If anyone on an iPhone has an issue with the checkout screen not loading from a link (stuck on the just a moment screen), try the following: go to the show page in Safari and get to the checkout with tickets from there. Close that tab and then try again to get to the checkout from a link. This has weirdly worked for two people so far who had that problem.

It was def a link and not just a head up?
To me (albeit I read the FB thread about 30 minutes after the fact), it looked like the person who got the tickets actually got them from a refresh and not the link. It looked like the seller posted the link late. This gives me hope (maybe false hope) that it’s still possible to get tickets from refreshing.
