I think Theo moved to NYC when he took the new role with MLB. Kid K maybe but his main home is in Scottsdale/Fountain Hills. If it’s Soldier, bring back some 1985 Bears!

Quite the run of shows…. Wonder if PJ will add on to it
Can any Chicago folks attest to whether soldier field usually has runs like this? Or is this a heavy concert run for them?

Wait the Lumineers are popular enough for a stadium? They are in two amphitheaters, an arena and a tennis arena between both Carolinas. All four combined would equal Solider Field.

I thought the same when they announced the Detroit baseball stadium show! And not even necessarily based off popularity, i just don’t see their music going over all that well in a huge stadium.
Very surprised to see The Lumineers playing a venue that big. Didn’t know they were that popular.
They are also playing stadiums in Detroit, Philly, Citi Field in NYC and Fenway. Completely baffling. Unless they have a new album that the industry is buzzing about. I just don’t see it

There’s still a ~20,000 seat difference better a football stadium and a baseball stadium. Baseball stadiums have become a newer step up when bands “graduate” from arenas/amphitheaters. Growing up the progression was hole-in-wall > small club > club > auditorium > arena/amp > football stadium. Of course I was out of the loop when the Lumieers moved up a tier.
Have to imagine Lumineers will sell incredibly poorly.
Post Malone, one of the biggest names in the world, is struggling to sell his football stadium tour at the moment…. Can’t imagine the Lumineers having more success than him

If PJ was playing Soldier Field at any point this Summer, I'm confident many on this forum would have insight into that already. Or.. it would've been leaked at some point already.
or you can come to terms and realize you're the only one who can forgive yourself oh yeah... makes much more sense to live in the present tense...
The schedule showing a game the next day. Not sure whether this precludes a concert the night before considering the time it takes to dismantle everything.

Denver too with Nathaniel Rateliff. Both got their big starts in Denver so it should sell well.

Normal for a full summer, but that’s a heavy week. Right before NFL starts too.
Mid-late July they’ll have European football games, and then it’s usually empty for lollapalooza week.
If PJ really was to play it would probably have to be Mid August right before this run of shows.
At this point I’d deem it highly unlikely. For a giant stadium show, there would usually be real rumors out there by now. Especially in Chicago
I could see PJ playing SF on the 26th or 27th, it’d probably only be 1 show though, since SF seats 62,000 people( doesn’t include GA space) so probably close to 70,000
Man that last week of August is gonna be awesome for me. Seeing Linkin Park in Milwaukee on the 25th, Oasis at SF on the 28th and the leaked Neil Young dates have him playing Northerly Island in Chicago on the 27th. If PJ plays SF on the 26th, that’d be a week to remember.
