  • What about 7/11/25? That would be the 3Oth.
  • If PJ was playing Soldier Field at any point this Summer, I'm confident many on this forum would have insight into that already.  Or.. it would've been leaked at some point already.
or you can come to terms and realize
you're the only one who can forgive yourself oh yeah...
makes much more sense to live in the present tense...

The schedule showing a game the next day. Not sure whether this precludes a concert the night before considering the time it takes to dismantle everything.

Very surprised to see The Lumineers playing a venue that big. Didn’t know they were that popular.
They are also playing stadiums in Detroit, Philly, Citi Field in NYC and Fenway.  Completely baffling.  Unless they have a new album that the industry is buzzing about. I just don’t see it
Denver too with Nathaniel Rateliff. Both got their big starts in Denver so it should sell well.

Quite the run of shows…. Wonder if PJ will add on to it

Can any Chicago folks attest to whether soldier field usually has runs like this?  Or is this a heavy concert run for them?
Normal for a full summer, but that’s a heavy week. Right before NFL starts too.
Mid-late July they’ll have European football games, and then it’s usually empty for lollapalooza week.
If PJ really was to play it would probably have to be Mid August right before this run of shows.
At this point I’d deem it highly unlikely. For a giant stadium show, there would usually be real rumors out there by now. Especially in Chicago
I could see PJ playing SF on the 26th or 27th, it’d probably only be 1 show though, since SF seats 62,000 people( doesn’t include GA space) so probably close to 70,000

Man that last week of August is gonna be awesome for me. Seeing Linkin Park in Milwaukee on the 25th, Oasis at SF on the 28th and the leaked Neil Young dates have him playing Northerly Island in Chicago on the 27th. If PJ plays SF on the 26th, that’d be a week to remember.

System of a Down has a two night football stadium following in 2025?

At least you know that if they do play SF, anyone who wants tickets is likely to get them.

Eh...6 total NA shows and a strong co-headliner at each. Love those guys but not a fan of this approach.

    100%
if they were playing Chicago at all, we’d probably know already.
So much goes into stadium shows, info usually leaks months ahead of time. For any act, not just PJ

I’m leaning towards this not happening. Especially after playing Chicago the past 2 years.
  • Lollapalooza or bust. This soldier field rumor makes no sense. Lollapalooza seems more likely, especially if they do a late summer/all leg, IMO.

No Lolla. Not with Perry's issues. I would guess they are entertaining offers for stadiums and festivals.

Centre stage can be a lil over 70,000. End stage can be as little as 30k, as the Stones were in 2006, to around mid 50k. PJ last time was 55k

I get what you mean, but no one is not playing lollapalooza because Perry had a public spat with his band mates he famously never got along with to begin with… I’d be surprised if there’s one act that dropped because of that incident.
