Pearl Jam is the epitome of late announcements. Even the December announcements for Europe so far are late compared to everything else I've seen in ticket presales over the years.

Pearl Jam was always the last to announce, but lately, with most other acts announcing earlier than ever, the PJ announcements just feel even later than before

Ok we need dates. Got tickets to see Jack White in Denver x2 in May. Want to see him somewhere else but holding off for PJ dates.
When did the 2023 Google leaks happen? Was it two weeks before the official announcement? Lovin’ Life won’t announce lineup until January…but hopefully we can have a clear picture before then.

Can we get some love in North Carolina now that we're worried about much more in life than bathroom bills? Charlotte or a benefit in Asheville would be nice
I feel that we can rule out Lovin' Life as Headliners are Post Malone, Stevie Nicks, and Noah Kahan.
You’ve got 2024 headliners there.

That is right. They traveled, got sick, and played many shows in 2024. Normally they take time off after a run like that. IMHO it is the festival paychecks that may bring them back out in 2025.
All official announcements come directly from 10C, but we already knew that.
For those not on FB, someone jumped the gun and shared an announcement from Chugg Entertainment regarding "the upcoming Australia tour" for Eddie in February, compete with dates and cities. "When shows were announced, fans around the country erupted at the news and tickets were sold out in hours." The article then mentions Ukulele Songs as a new-ish album.
Of course there's people in the comment section excited that it's going to happen.

Have seen rumors for the States, Canada and South America so far but not one for Europe yet (besides Jeff’s Instagram post, that got my hopes for rescheduled shows up). This time last year we had a lot of rumors already.
Maybe it has something to do with them still being on tour.
I know nothing! But what I do know is that they couldn't play Amsterdam because reasons. They like to play Amsterdam.
IMO, it'd be foolish if them NOT to play Amsterdam sooner rather than later.
Capiche?
And I'm gonna screw this up, but didn't they not play there in 2024 because they had to cancel last time? That...doesn't make sense to me. You'd think the clause would be something about "Ok, so you canceled. If you don't play here next time you're in Europe, it's a really large fine."
To me, and what little I know about things, that would make more sense.

Here's the eternal question:
How much does the band know about future touring plans vs how much is planned behind the scenes (agents, promoters, managers) and then the band signs off on it?
I'm sure it's definitely a two-way street, but it's also possible the band just doesn't know anything at times. This is probably a lot of why Eddie says stuff like "We'll try to come back sooner than last time" and doesn't really live up to it. I put very little faith in what he says on stage.

Comments
1) It's a marketing strategy to build anticipation and demand
2) Members of the band refuse to commit to cities/dates until the last minute
Either way, we get what we get, and the tour is revealed when it is revealed.
US tours usually are announced in February , European Tours are announced in the 1st week of December.
This year was the exception when they announced everything at once in February (album+all year tour dates)

I think it's moreso #1...which is why they usually announce each leg individually vs an entire year at once.
Could of sworn somewhere Mike said something to someone about playing in South America next year, but don't think it was in Fall.

Does it mean "something" like one or two performances all year or the opposite - more or less a full tour?
