Someone (sorry, don’t recall who) posted a bunch of reasons why they felt PJ would play the Sphere. To which Facemeltor commented something like “this guy is onto something”.

But, was it ever said that it would be next year? I honestly don’t recall.

What I’m saying is, both could be true. PJ could indeed be considering a few dates at the Sphere, but perhaps not in 2025??
No, no one confirmed it would be 2025.

  • I’m not a huge Linkin Park fan, but DAMN…. Now THIS is a “world tour”
Getting tickets to Milwaukee on the 25th as i’m going to be in Chicago between the 26-29th for Oasis.

Awesome, Omaha Nebraska is included for once.....i will try to get tickets to this for sure!

So, no PJ25, no PJ30 (of course, CORONA, you know), and now PJ35.... I don't think so.
For those that are anti-PJ35, or pessimistic, or whatever, then what do you think/hope that "something special for year 35" could be?
    Sphere.
I love it.  And I'm on board for sure, as I live close to Vegas.  But there's a surprising number of people who oppose the idea.  I'm very interested to see what kind of visuals that they come up with.
The more I think about it, the more I think it'll probably happen. Will just be closer to what Phish did than a full residency
Indications from people who typically are well connected, there are no current plans for a residency in Vegas or in Seattle.  Maybe someday, but more wishful thinking at this point.
But didn't Facemeltor indicate that the Sphere was a good possibility? Maybe things have changed since he posted.
It went from being a near-lock, to 🤷‍♂️

My educated guess? Stone (or Stone + 1) probably made the point of "if we're going to play somewhere for awhile... then why not one of our home locations & benefit the locals?"

So, maybe it's Seattle now, or maybe something else... I don't have any intel on that beyond what Facemeltor hinted at, or what I heard in The Cove.

(who knows, maybe @MikeDigs will get his wish lol)

My wishes for 2025 have been evolving for sure.  As we close out this remarkable year for Pearl Jam, and us fans that were lucky enough to attend some live shows, here is my 2025 show wishlist, in order:
    1. PJ35 at Benaroya Hall
    2. PJ35 in Philadelphia
    3. PJ35 at The Gorge
    4. PJ35 anywhere
    I'm spinning, oh-oh-oh I'm spinning

    In 2015, yes.

How close/far did they get this year? Weren't they about 10 games out before elimination this year?

Unless he knows they'll truly stink (out with 20+ games left), then I don't think we'll see October shows anytime soon.

  • It's been fun seeing new rumored cities pop up in the last few pages of this thread. The people who are in the know have probably known for a long time in regard to their specific city/venue/ect intel. I used to work with an old friend who was in charge of booking for a pretty big yearly festival, and they said that as soon as the festival ended, they were already booking acts for the next year. Now that's not to say that you can't book a tour pretty quickly if you have the right infrastructure / connections, but as a music nerd the logistics of tours always fascinated me.

    (2000) Mansfield I, Mansfield II (2003) Montreal (2005) Montreal, Ottawa (2006) Albany (2008) Montreal I + II (EV) (2022) Québec City

  • Nobody has any real leads on U.S. shows for 2025? Maybe Atlanta and/or Charlotte in late April/May and they could be festivals.  That it at this point?

This is how i'd book next year with no two night runs and more cities, More like a combination of 2014 and 2016 with the same amount of dates for the April and May dates as how they've been touring from 2022 to 2024:

    April/May:
    Miami
    Tampa or Orlando
    Jacksonville
    Houston
    Kansas City
    Louisville
    Cleveland or Pittsburgh
    Detroit
    Milwaukee

    June or July:
London? would be cool to get a strictly UK tour w/ Amsterdam thrown in.

    August to September:
    Seattle residency

My wishes for 2025 have been evolving for sure.  As we close out this remarkable year for Pearl Jam, and us fans that were lucky enough to attend some live shows, here is my 2025 show wishlist, in order:
    1. PJ35 at Benaroya Hall
    2. PJ35 in Philadelphia
    3. PJ35 at The Gorge
    4. PJ35 Anywhere

That "P35 Anywhere" could happen at a town near you.

What if it's10c member exclusive :o
+ VIP packages for the "casuals"?

    I'm spinning, oh-oh-oh I'm spinning
  • Ideally this is what I’d like to see for the US, it’s probably too much for this band but there’s so many places they haven’t hit

    Houston - New Orleans - Miami - Orlando - Atlanta - Raleigh - DC - Pittsburgh - Cleveland - Buffalo - Albany - Portland - Hartford

    3 Week Break

    Montreal - Toronto - Detroit - Grand Rapids - Milwaukee - Kansas City - Boulder - Salt Lake City - Boise - Spokane - Edmonton - Calgary - Gorge x2 (PJ 35)
