If Ten is 10/10 and The Haves is the WORST thing they ever did then Dark Matter is slightly better than most of Earthling. Ed sounds bad and the music is heartland/dad rock. Scared of Fear is great though.2007: Chorzow, PL

But again, Binaural is 24 years old, so its had time to find its place in the catalog. We were all different people back then, so those sounds meant different things at different points of our life too. But again, some of these new ones have not had time to find their place, and I think they are getting some of them out in the open.
Thin Air is brilliant. They should let Stone write more love songs.Turn this anger into

Vedd Hedd said:I think they are getting their "you didnt expect these" sounds of the the way. The last 2 songs probably would sound a bit stark within the concept of the album. By releasing those early, you expect them, and it’s less of a transition, maybe. Giving me vibes of a cross between a Backspacer (vocals) and LB (music) tune. Unfortunately, not a mix I'm excited for. It's a hopeless situation...0

I’d like to hear the chorus before I get to excited one way or the other0

The clips of SS and Wreckage sound more like earthling than anything else, but we have a limited window, so I’d bet there is more heft there with the full band .
I think the best tracks are ones we haven’t gotten a taste of yet based on reviews.Scared of Frear

Same with Nothing as it Seems, that was received a little strangely. So, they sort of have a history of releasing some of the outliers rather than the anthems.0 -
Ever since Of The Earth I've been patiently waiting for a spacey, slightly proggy, slightly jammy era0

Between SS and Wreckage - sounds like they explored their pop country phase!
Not mad at it - digging the 2 singles and the snippets of these two.0 -
Wife enjoys it.
Sounds better to me after a couple of listens.
Really not sure how these will be live but can't wait to find out.0 -
Damn I missed setting sun. Guess I'll wait until next week. Wreckage has got some real promise0
