But then they'd better be on stage by 7:30 p.m. at the latest. The noise protection regulations of the city of Berlin for bands like Pearl Jam say that it ends at 10 pm. Then they also don't have to stop songs in the middle.
We absolutely cannot move on to stage 4 (stressing about set length) of the tour cycle yet
I have heard a rumour, that they will play two shows in Berlin Waldbuhne - with a day off inbetween.
Now that’s what I call a rumor!

I once read an interesting newspaper article on the subject in a German newspaper. The 10 pm curfew in Berlin also applied before COVID. However, a distinction was made on a case-by-case basis as to whether an extended curfew was necessary for the event. After COVID, this has been dealt with more strictly. The city of Berlin set the curfew for "disruptive rock bands" at 10 pm. Whereas quieter artists, as well as "artists of special importance" like the Berlin Symphony Orchestra are allowed to play longer.
The 2010 Wuhlheide show that everyone remembers fondly, also had a 10PM curfew. Can't remember anyone complaining
I saw Springsteen in a soccer stadium in the suburbs of Prague in 2012 and they had a 10pm curfew. He wandered out on stage at 6:30pm and said, "The city says we have to get started", did a 30 minute acoustic solo set, and then the band played for 3 hours.

I wouldn't call it complaining. I just think it's a shame. On the one hand, having to turn off the power on the longest days of the year, when it doesn't really get dark until around 10pm. On the other hand, to know that it has to end at 10 pm and then not to get on stage earlier.

Time for Orchestra Pearl Jam as the second encore from 10-11
Hopefully it doesn’t clash with the Euro 24 matches. Berlin hosts a quarterfinal on July 6th and the final on July 14th. Semis are in Munich and Dortmund at least

It can‘t. There are no events at the same time at Olympiastadion and Waldbühne allowed. But hotel prices will be sky high during the whole time frame I guess.

Yeah was frustrating last year when they had to cut the set short. Was really hoping they would go to somewhere like Munich or Cologne for a change. More rumours are good though!
Köln or Düsseldorf would be great. They did play Frankfurt last tour so did go beyond Berlin.

I would also like to see them in the Lanxess Arena Cologne. Although the sound is supposed to be very challenging due to the architecture. Concerts of world-famous musicians had to be interrupted here several times in order to provide the hall with a reasonable sound. Even for an hour. But I firmly believe in the sound engineers of Pearl Jam, that they will do a great job.
Is there a reason they no longer play the O2/Mercedes-Benz arena in Berlin? Those back to back shows in 2012 had maybe the best sound I have ever heard at a concert.

I’ve not had a problem with the sound when I’ve gone there but generally seated Last year it was one of the places chosen to debut a new ‘Lara’ sound system. I’m not sure if it/was a permanent thing though.

Not just that, but at least two other British Isles dates, I hear.
