no one wants Hamas. And it’s dumb that you think that if it isn’t posted then it isn’t canon. Maybe ask before just assuming. Fucking Christ.Post edited by Tim Simmons on0

I should have been more clear. I was attempting to be by using extreme left. I’m not taking about the vast majority of the Democrats in Congress etc. Nor even likely the majority of people that think about voting Democrat. Truly thinking about the extreme left general population….they throw people away as soon as they don’t fall in line with their beliefs 100% like MAGA does. Look at everyone talking about Bill Maher now.I always said he was an egomaniac only cared about himself. People here loved him for speaking the “truth”. Now he is saying what they don’t like….and boom….cancel culture. I’m sick of the all or none, I’ve had to ignore so much to vote for Hillary, Joe and Kamala…others should be able to disagree agreeably…or whateverhippiemom = goodness0

propaganda works best when people don’t even realize it’s being used on them. Go…find those people. Help us.AI OverviewThis sounds like you're describing a specific propaganda campaign, likely related to a conflict where one side is accused of using a narrative of victimhood while their population is actually increasing, and simultaneously portraying the opposing side as diminished, which may not be accurate. This is a common tactic in propaganda, where narratives are manipulated to create a desired public perception of a conflict. Here's a breakdown of the elements:- Narrative of Victimhood:One side is portrayed as the victim, often facing existential threats or suffering great losses, even if their population numbers don't reflect this.
- Population Growth:While the narrative of victimhood is being pushed, their population may be growing, or at least not diminishing as suggested.
- Diminished Enemy:The opposing side's population may be exaggerated as being smaller than it is, or their losses may be emphasized, to further highlight the victimhood narrative.
- Propaganda Campaign:This entire narrative is being actively promoted to shape public opinion and garner support.
This kind of manipulation is often seen in conflicts where there is a strong emotional component. It's designed to rally support for one side and demonize the other, often regardless of the actual facts on the ground. If you have a specific conflict in mind, providing more details would help in analyzing the propaganda techniques being used.

I asked someone before recently, but I cannot find that post...new forum/old user....makes it difficult!
Anyhow - I'd really like to know
1) What are some of the things that the Democratic party are doing today that they should stop doing?
2) What are some of the things that the Democratic party isn't doing today that they should start doing?
3) When trying to win national elections, what issues/behaviors, etc of some of the more extreme liberals in the US (both online and in person) are hurting the Democratic party from winning big state and national elections?
I haven't voted for a single R since probably the election before the 2016 presidential election in any way (local, state, national)....I honestly thought back in 2016 that if people like me would vote against trump and the GOP during the MAGA takeover that it was a good sign that it wouldn't happen. But it did. So, in your opinion, what's the playbook to try and change this around?

I feel like trump is such a cult like figure we are trapped until he is no longer relevant. That base will not leave him regardless of what disgusting behavior or criminal activity he is involved in.
It wouldn't hurt to fight back a bit. I love the idea of CA, NY, IL, etc., gerrymandering to offset the bullshit that TX is doing. Time to stop playing nice.Remember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

People want to feel taken care of. Dems need to embrace more policies that do that. Sell them not only generally and simply, but sincerely.Boilerplate progressive policies are actually popular among americans

the challenge for Dems is trying to look less elitist. Which is really tough in the face of opposing party that gets crueler and dumber. The natural inclination is to look responsible and have a hand on the wheel. It’s a difficult needle to thread, especially now when culture wars are candy to the public and just standing up for people’s rights and trying to be empathetic is seen as weak and out of touch.0 -
In my most cynical moments, I feel like the only way through is to let things get so bad America gets tired and wants a new direction. Hopefully that point hits well before we find a bottom.0

I’ve made the joke in the past “we can have a little bit of fascism/racism”, but that’s essentially where some are arguing is the point we need to start at. Hell on a federal level that IS where we are at.Post edited by Tim Simmons on0
