to really really simplify SJW. At its heart, does it not mean to hold the country to our founding principles in the Constitution and it's preceding document the Declaration? As flawed as the Constitution is but later corrected.I say yes. As such EVERY SINGLE SOLDIER, SAILOR, AIRMAN AND MARINE is just that a Social Justice Warrior, in the truest sense. We swear to preserve and defend that document.those who dont hold to the same are anti-americanists and anti-constutionalists. if you aren't then what the fuck is wrong with you.We stand for those ideals. seeking to realize the promise we were taught this country was and is supposed to be.to quote the preamble to our founding document "to form a more perfect union...."Post edited by mickeyrat on_____________________________________SIGNATURE________________________________________________

what’s his protesting gonna do? That wapo trump 100 day approval poll has voters trusting Dems to fix problems seven points LESS than trump?
After the stock market crash, El Salvador fiasco. Signal gate. And the dems are trusted seven points less. Damn.
at this point who exactly supports Dems? This place, Reddit, and ten other people? But who would know when mds think Dems being rejected for extremism admitted by their own, is the same as a general Dems topic. Let’s see what others get censorship.I’ve conceded the house next year, we win that. But the rest? The dems have at least four battleground senate seats to hold and three R state seats they just lost, if they wish to retake the senate this decade. With many incumbent retirements soon. The senate, White House and Supreme Court is where our govt matters most and where democrats are struggling.
after that, the new census kicks in and ten electoral votes / house seats go from solid blue states to the south. After that, dems could sweep the blue wall, including your beloved Wisconsin and still lose every electoral college vote thereafter, and probably every house election.
all the news this week is how bad trumps approval ratings are, and that’s well deserved. What the dem media is failing to discuss is they polled seven points worse. Tariffs, horrible deportations. 7 points worse. That’s after the delusion of Bernie AOC selling out red state rallies with much bigger crowds than Pearl Jam. Still. 7 points worse than trump. Read AOCs website and report back she is not heavy into socialism. They ain’t voting for that here and the party is too clueless to figure that out.0 -

Second, we already discussed the rallies. Do you not remember 2016 and 2020 when Bernie had those enormous rallies? The voting power of the party is center left. How do you not see this?I was referring to the very recent wapo poll question ‘who do you trust more to solve problems, trump or democrats?’ Trump got an abysmal 37% but democrats 30%. With a response like that, dems are not even getting all of their base to trust them. I’ve been referring to this poll often this week. And these polls were conducted after the news stories of all the dem protesting and large Bernie AOC rallies in red states. I am tying this poll result to the recent dem message of rallies and protests. So I can’t even trust the current dem message machine trying to convince me there is a pro democrat sea of upheaval. The joke is, at 30% trust, very few are trusting the dems of late. Considering the stock market, tariff and deportation straight to prison mess, that is astounding.0 -
Logistically how are Democrats solving any problems federally. They didn’t have the votes. But yes, to a larger point Dem leadership is awful and they all need to go0

I love many of their policies, i don’t trust them to appoint good party leadership, good campaigners, nor an effective message machine. They raise tons of money yet wait to deploy much of it two months before an election when the Rs can wash it out with white noise. They need to figure out how to reach the portion of Americans who systematically don’t trust them, and these folks can now be triggered with one stupid 4 letter word, that begins with a w.0

Suddenly we trust polls again? I’m seeing reporting on generic ballot polling for the mid-terms showing Dems retake the house and senate, effectively making COOTWH a lame duck. Add that to the general understanding that the majority of voters are pissed at the national level and state of their respective parties, they are equally as enthusiastic about their representatives.

When a sitting president fucks up so bad like Trump is doing, it would be nice to be able to have snap elections. 2 years and 4 years are too long for these politicians. If you want to keep your job serve the people, not yourself and the select minority always on your side. With today's technology, the damage is inflicted faster than ever before. It's a hopeless situation...0

I suppose there are several reasons the Dems are doing so poorly in that poll (assuming WaPo isn't trying to make them worse than the man to whom they've bent their knee). I don't think Bernie and AOC have much to do with it.
- Fatigue on the Dems not seeming to understand the gravity of what's happening. (i.e. need more AOCs and fewer Schumers)
- --Related: "We're not Trump" is not inspiring.
- Israel. If the Dems had condemned what's going on there, they'd have probably picked up some hard left "not voting for genocide" votes.
- The right-wing misinformation machine and the death of journalism. Just because Trump's administration is a steaming pile of crap doesn't mean all the BS about wokeness, "they've gotten so far left," and even the older-school "Dems are not good at the fiscal stuff" doesn't still resonate.
- --This is probably where "crazy AOC and Bernie" play in. It's not that they're crazy. They pretty much want to make America great again (i.e., pre-Reagan when regular people could buy a house and raise a family without shareholder capitalism destroying it).
- They don't have very inspiring personalities right now. And those that are (Walz's coach/dad thing, AOC's actual care about regular people, or Bernie's anger and energy) scare the party either because they're uniparty complicit or because they really believe that GOP lite is the only way to go (even after it didn't work in 2016).

Bernie AOC (great Rap band!) believe in govt mandated healthcare, housing and free college, etc. That will lose national elections and key senate races to “free market” every time. As far as the unfortunate war in Your third bullet point, go grab some you tube videos of trumps campaign comments about Israel. He ran very hard pro Israel. Before the current war, that’d be a million miles from where I was politically. Point being, he had strong language which should have drawn out the hate Israel crowd, but he had the best popular vote total by a republican in a long time. Before this election, it was predicted Rs would never win the popular vote again.0
