    Using SJW as a pejorative is really gross. People who work for social justice are the best among us and to lump people who misdirect their outrage in a very online way minimizes the plight of people who deserve equality and the people who fight for that.

    Using SJW as a pejorative is really gross. People who work for social justice are the best among us and to lump people who misdirect their outrage in a very online way minimizes the plight of people who deserve equality and the people who fight for that. 

    SJW is specifically about the chosen few picking winners and losers. I’ve never in my life agreed with a 6-3 conservative ruling until Students for Fair Admissions v Harvard.

    As Robert’s said, you can not pick winners without sentencing others to lose. The opinion that…the affirmative action programs "lack sufficiently focused and measurable objectives warranting the use of race, unavoidably employ race in a negative manner, involve racial stereotyping, and lack meaningful end points. We have never permitted admissions programs to work in that way, and we will not do so today".

    Expecting commenters here to focus on balance is what is gross. It’s stupid of me to expect that…folks attack me endlessly for their understanding about who should receive empathy, and who should not, and reject all attempts at balance. Internet communications are impossible, as it’s difficult to understand why my SJW counterattack evolved here. It seems that is turning you to the far left. For that, I apologize.

    No. It’s a pejorative towards people who fight for understanding and equality and you are attributing it to the most toxic, delegitimizing those who work hard for a truly just and balanced and fair society.

    back on topic. No one is talking about those polls released in the past day or so that are terrible for trump. 100 day approval rating worst for any modern day president.


    has one single person identified how those same polls are even worse for democrats? doubt it, better to attack the accurate use of identifying biased SJWs.

    I’m very curious if anyone has anything to say, that maybe Schiff is onto something or perhaps that wapo trump approval poll that was worse for democrats.

    a major poll just released, and no the country is not out celebrating Bernie or AOC after seeing those huge red state rallies. Dems are worse than these 100 trump days. 

    That’s stunning, even to me. And it crickets here.

    Not sure what that  terrible video has to do with Alexandria. It’s from a different generation when all the social rules and gender interactions were completely different.

    It like watching a house hunters hgtv show and a 29 yo homebuyer says “I’m not paying a million bucks for someone else’s taste,” before upping her budget a couple hundred k, while stating taking a big career risk moving to this city. From a generation that complains about the cost of housing but is actually participating in driving up market values by insisting living closer to the city for walkable neighborhoods. They got no clue in 15 years the last thing they will want to do is lug around a gallon of milk, whether or not it’s extreme winter or summer. Can guarantee older generations didn’t drive up prices like this 50+ years ago


    point being, it’s impossible to understand complex issues, whether  social or economic, by looking at a completely different culture that is no longer acceptable. Or not seeing the weakness in what is currently accepted as normal.
