Wyndham Noblesville appears to be sold out but Holiday inn still has rooms. Price is going up though.
I live in Indianapolis. I wouldn't spend a lot of money on limited hotels near the venue. Look at the intersection of 69 and 96th street or 116th street. Lots of hotels there and not a long drive. Nice area too.

true but being able to walk from the venue is nice...
At the 1998 PJ concert I got pulled over at a sobriety checkpoint when we left Deer Creek. About 10 minutes before that I was urinating on my tire in the parking lot. I was driving a minivan and the cop looked in and saw car seats and told me to go around. I guess I didn't look like I was coming from the PJ show. Got lucky...I was lit

I did in 2010. It's convienient.........that's about it. I used to travel here for concerts all the time and camp and it was fun, I was younger. When I went in 2010 it had changed a lot since the last time I went. The area is developed now, it used to be just cornfields. So.......if you don't mind camping in what I remember as basically someone's front yard, it is good for tailgating, walk to show and walk back after.

ha, this reminds me of back in 98, I got pulled over on the way into one of the Alpine PJ shows for the cop seeing me drinking in the car while waiting in line to get in, when in reality I was drinking a bottle of Sprecher root beer. He was ticked/embarrassed, good times...

Bruce only has to get one person to agree to a tour. Himself. Same for Dave Matthews. Their bands are going to follow them wherever they go. Pearl Jam feels more like a democracy and there won’t be a tour unless all 5 members are in agreement.
Lol. Respectfully, you mustn't know these bands or their fanbases very well. It'd be exactly the same as Eddie deciding to go on tour without the rest of PJ. It wouldn't be a PJ show. It'd be an Eddie Vedder show. Same with Dave and Bruce.

I’m not saying those guys would tour without their band (although Bruce has done that plenty). I’m saying Bruce and Dave set the tour schedule and the rest of the band follows.

Granted, Bruce's band is a bit overloaded with extras. But the core crew, Steve, Patti, Max, Jake, etc. are integral.
the fact that this page is blowing up over 6 to 8 dates after the tour they put out last year doing only 1 nighters in places like nyc and philly is kinda sad. i dont mean to be a bummer on what is hopefully a "big" announcement day but this band has become all about the easy dollar hence the flat rate 10c membership, the vinyl releases which seam to happen every other month now, and many other examples.... also the age excuse is garbage. for example Bruce has an average band age of 69, tours constantly. DMB has an average age of 56, 45+ shows a summer. Motley crue average age, 64. tours constantly (although they probably shouldnt) lol. PJ? 58.... and we get 1 GOOD tour every what, 3 to 5 years? 2013, 2016, 2022 kinda. they are phoning it in. hell even the shows we do get, 2016 philly was 32 songs. msg 2022 was 24 because they now use openers? come on. I know most of you are gonna s**t all over this post but it needed to be said. hopefully the "BIG THINGS" announcement changes that
I always felt the Rolling Stone article about Taylor Hawkins with quotes from Matt and Chad Smith was pretty telling about the desire to scale back a bit. Before Taylor passed, Pearl Jam was still doing "An Evening With Pearl Jam." Sets were pretty long. I think after what happened with Taylor, they rethought things a bit. Matt was quoted in the story:
Hawkins turned to Cameron for advice, since the Pearl Jam drummer faced similar pressures. “There’s only a handful of guys in our profession that still play this intense high-energy, Nineties rock music,” Cameron says. “We both had to strike that balance of ‘We never want to complain,’ but there are real, specific things about what we do that’s really fucking challenging and really difficult. … It’s like we have to be able to sort of run a marathon every time we hit the stage, just because the music sort of calls for that type of energy.”
But Pearl Jam took off all of 2019 and 2020. They played a scant four shows in 2021. In that same three-year span, the Foos did more than 70 concerts. “They were the first ones to go back at it super hard, and [Taylor and I] definitely had discussions about that,” Cameron says. “He was a little apprehensive, understandably, just because of all the Covid bullshit that was going on. So there was all these different factors that were weighing on him stepping back into the ring.”
To me, it feels like they want to play live music as a band for as long as they can and are making decisions about touring to ensure they're taking care of themselves so they'll be able to. I certainly would never fault anyone for that.
