I have used the shuttle in past years.  It’s a pretty decent service with plenty of parking at the shuttle origin.  Last year they moved that origin at the last minute (relatively speaking) which wrecked some people’s plans to stay near the past shuttle location but it was my lucky day as I happened to have previously booked a place near the new location.
I paid for shuttle passes that were never delivered. When I tried to get my money refunded, I was told no refunds were available.  The person I went to the shows with also never received his shuttle passes.  So buyer beware.

I ended up paying 30 bucks to park for each of the three shows PJ headlined-- 10 bucks for a shuttle pass I never received and 20 bucks to park at the public beach lot (which turned out to be a much better deal than the shuttle could have been-- it was a 10-minute walk to my car and then I was straight out onto the highway for the drive home).  I definitely won't be buying shuttle passes this year.
Sorry to hear that. I’ve bought the pass each year and they have always been delivered by email.
Yeah. There was no physical pass last year. You checked in with the folks at the parking area and they gave you a wristband.
Was this communicated beforehand?  This was the first time I went to Ohana, so I wasn't operating off an assumption from prior years.  As I recall, I was told in the email confirming the purchase of the passes that I would receive the passes via email.  Also, the friend I referenced in my initial post received shuttle passes via email for the first weekend, but didn't receive anything for the second weekend.  I didn't get them for either (I only went Sunday on the first weekend, and then both nights on the second weekend).

It must have been communicated beforehand because this was my first Ohana and I had no concerns going down there.
Here's what was included in the email way back in the day:
'Your Digital PrintPass(es) will be emailed to the address you provided. You will receive an individual email per ticket purchased with that ticket attached closer to the date of the festival. Each barcode can only be scanned one time for entry. Questions? Please visit support.frontgatetickets.com.'

They email the shuttle “ticket” which you bring with you to the shuttle site where they scan it and issue you a shuttle wristband for that day.  If you ordered the ticket and never received the email I would follow up for a refund.  But they may say you should have followed up before the event.

In terms of the Uber option, I personally wouldn’t take any enjoyment from the logistical challenges of others, but I do agree that planning on ride share in surge situations has predictable delays and costs, and it’s not great planning when there are options.

To be fair, he said 1/6 to PJ, RHCP, Ed, Kings of Leon, Band of Horses, Black Keys. Could be Ed or PJ, but not both.

Don’t know why people think PJ would headline again so soon.

He said that would be cool for EV Jack White and Pink. Shot a lot of other ones down.

    Here's my best guess:
    • Fri. = Ed & the Earthlings, or Jack White (whether it's Fri or Sat, maybe Jack jams with the Earthlings)
    • Sat. = Jack White, or Ed & the Earthlings (if Ed on Sat., Pink comes out for a song)
    • Sun. = Pink headlines (Ed comes out for a song, maybe "Just Give Me A Reason"?)
Rest of the festival is filled out by new & older acts (anyone's guess).
If there's an Encore, I can see PJ, along with their side projects like Painted Shield. Matt will have/should have a heavy presence. Maybe a quick 30 from Jeff for his Ament solo album, mixed with some old faves? Dare I say The Rockfords??

I am going to guess that it is PJ and not EV solo this year if we have to choose between the two.

There was another guess where he answered one was right and Eddie was the only repeated name. So I’m guessing Eddie solo, not PJ.

Maybe Stone will take Glens spot. Also PJ not playing is interesting if true. Sales in California playing a role maybe?

Yeah, maybe Pearl Jam at Encore announced after the May California shows?

Now I’m wondering if the circle changing colors between pink and white is a hint at Pink and Jack White. Also will be interesting to see if the Earthlings play without Glen.

He basically confirmed Pink. And it’s weird but one of the guesses had Ed and Painted Shield and he said only one is right. So I guess no Painted Shield?

Pink has entered the “pop artist that hung around long enough to be cool at festivals” stage.

That’s not a knock.  I like that Limp Bizkit and Third Eye Blind play these big festivals now.

Ed solo Saturday is a staple of Ohana.  Be surprised if it doesn’t happen.  (Solo or with his side hustle band…)

I ALWAYS find street parking 10 min away.. you just have to not lag and go a bit early...I laugh at the Uber lot folks as I get to my car and they're still waiting
I have never once gotten to the end of an Ohana day and thought it would be prudent for me to be driving.
No thanks on the$15 beers and cans of hard seltzer
We brought in our own booze every day no problem and just bought a couple of mixers.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

Shout out to the guy who posted that they were only checking for metal. A few airplane bottles of rum into one of those giant lemonades made the weekend very aloha.

    Yes
  • I was planning on staying in Denver for a few days after the ‘last show’ of the tour but I had such a nice time at Ohana Encore last year that, depending on the line up, I might change that plan and hop a plane to LAX for the opening weekend.
    Checking Expedia prices now…..

Just want to make sure you are looking at the right dates... there is a full week between Denver and Ohana, so you should be able to stick around Denver for a few days no problem, as Ohana is the following weekend.

Seen Pink twice (my wife’s favorite) and they were two of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Really hopes she does ohana but it’ll be totally different since her staging and theatrics are such a big part of her shows.
